I’ve always searched for something that I thought would work.

My weight has always fluctuated — I’d go up and then come back down. Rather than try programs that were healthful and sustainable, I always went for the quick fix like a magic pill.

Before Jenny Craig, I was tired a lot — my level of energy was really down. I wasn’t motivated and had stopped looking forward to doing the things I love the most — getting outside, hiking, running.

I stopped wanting to shop because I didn’t know what would fit me. I’d avoid the mirror. Weight really does affect your confidence. I found myself wanting to stay in more or not wanting to go to certain events.

Jenny Craig is the easiest and the fastest weight loss I’ve ever experienced, without all that craziness. I honestly don’t even feel like I’m on a diet and the weight has just come off. For so long, I was so worried about gaining weight that I would skip breakfast, and then only eat a little bit for lunch. By the time I got to the evening, I was snacking on all kinds of things right before going to bed. Since I was skipping meals, I couldn’t understand why I couldn’t take the weight off.

When I started the Rapid Results Max program, I dropped several pounds so much faster and easier than anything I had ever tried. I went from skipping meals to having three great meals a day plus snacks and dessert – and watching the weight fall off!

I don’t have to worry about making all the smart choices because they put a menu in front of me. Meals are scheduled — it’s so planned out. It’s such a part of my life that I feel like my body tells me when it’s time to eat. It’s effortless.

You don’t have to worry about counting calories or anything — it’s all taken care of. I love this food. The variety is so great. I’m a pizza gal and I love that I can still get it. With Jenny Craig, there has not been a time when I’ve felt hungry.

The intermittent fasting part of Rapid Results Max is also planned and was really easy for me. At first, it sounds scary but it’s really not — it’s just about getting your body into that rhythm and breaking some unhealthy habits. When I started the fasting (which you’re mostly asleep for!), I became so conscious of how much I was snacking.

For me, it was about learning that I didn’t need that snack. I was learning what I was eating – and when – made such a difference. It made my body feel better; I don’t feel as sluggish, as tired, as bloated. We can attest that it makes such a difference in weight loss and how we feel.

I look forward to our conversations every Wednesday — she’s very supportive — she listens to what’s going on with us and offers options. She’s been so helpful to help me navigate and has helped me to see things from a whole different perspective. She helps me ask the right questions and offers me options. For me, that’s huge — she lets me be in charge of my decisions.

Since I’ve been on Jenny Craig, I’ve tried out new things I wouldn’t have tried before. Now I’m able to go on a run every day, a walk every day – I’m way more active than I ever could be before. We even think about our trips differently. It starts with, ‘Where would we like to go?’ instead of avoiding anything with too much activity or bathing suits!

And then there’s all the extra time! I’m able to walk with my dogs, catch up daily with my kids, spend more time with my husband, Rob. Our quality of life is freer and more open. I actually feel like I’m a better mom.

Throughout this process, I’ve been able to achieve more than just weight loss. It’s given me back more of my life and confidence — more of myself. I’ve been able to see myself differently and am a little bit more proud. It’s been nice to feel good about looking in the mirror and savoring how good it feels to fit into those skinny jeans, get that compliment from people and from my husband and kids.

It’s been a life-changer for sure.
