I first tried Jenny Craig a few years ago. I used it as a way to jump-start eating healthy again. It was great. Then fast forward - I relocated from Maine to North Carolina and got kind of lost. I didn't know where to go for a gym, and it was a rough move so I ate my way through it and gained a lot - about 20 pounds. On top of that, COVID happened.

In my family, when you have a crisis, you eat, and when you’re happy you eat, or anything else … you eat! So I gained even more weight. One day I looked in the mirror and realized I really needed to do something about it.

"I called Jenny Craig."

I called Jenny Craig because I really liked it before. I've tried other diets - but they weren't for me. The food wasn't as good of quality. With Jenny Craig, the food was just as good as it was years ago, so it was easy for me to get right back on board with it.

In fact, my family has said the same about the food. My son-in-law is a chef and he's even commented on how good it is!

I'm a hairstylist and I still have clients in Maine, so I go back once a month. It used to be easy because I would fly, but because of the pandemic I have to drive 17 hours each way — it’s crazy.

I pack up a cooler with dry ice and stay at hotels with a kitchenette where I can put my Jenny Craig food away and prepare it at dinner time. For the drive home, I'll pack the food that doesn't need to be refrigerated like the Tuna Dill Salad Kit - it's great for lunch.

When I get home after working 8-11 hour days constantly standing doing hair - I want to relax. I don't want to make a meal. I love going home and knowing I don’t have to think. The prep time is nothing. There are so many different meals too, so it's never the same thing.

I'm a snacker. I am the type of person that doesn't really get hungry or full, I just want everything to be gone. So if I sit down to watch TV with a bag of chips, I'll eat the whole thing.

Intermittent fasting on Rapid Results Max put me on a schedule. I no longer snack at night. If I know that I can't eat after seven o'clock, I just don't have the snacks. I like it a lot.

 

 

I adore my coach, Michelle.

She calls me every Monday at 8 a.m. She goes over my weight with me, discusses any issues, and asks how I ate during the week. She gives me tips. She's a good motivator and now we've struck up a friendship!

With your coach, you don't really get discouraged. You have someone when you're not feeling your best or when times are tough. I think it's a big part of me sticking with Jenny Craig. I have more accountability.

“I don't feel like I'm on a diet.”

I hate the word "diet." If you feel like you're on a diet, then there's always an end and then you feel like you can eat whatever you want. I don't feel like I need to end anything. Even after I reach my goal, I will maintain and stay on Jenny Craig because it works and I don't feel like I'm on a diet.

I've lost 30 pounds and have a little farther to go. I'm really close. I fit into my clothes again. To me, if you feel good about yourself you walk different - you look different - you feel different.
