  • Can I do Jenny Craig if I have diabetes?

    Yes, Jenny Craig has a diabetic weight loss plan specifically designed for individuals with Type 2 Diabetes. With all the benefits of the classic Jenny Craig program you can lose weight to improve your glycemic control.

    In a one-year trial* of 225 men and women:

    • Participants following the lower carbohydrate menu lost 9% of their weight, as compared to 2.5% for usual care
    • Participants reduced HbA1c to 6.6% as compared to 7.5% for usual care, while showing greater improvements in HDL cholesterol and triglycerides
    • 72% of Jenny Craig participants reduced or eliminated insulin use

    We recommend members consult their physician before starting the meal plan and throughout the program to discuss any modification needed regarding medications, blood glucose goals and physical activity plans.

  • Does Jenny Craig work for all ages?

    Jenny Craig is designed for ages 13 and up! Your Consultant will make sure you are on the correct menu plan and calorie level to optimize your weight loss and reach your goals.

    Adolescents between the age of 13-17 can follow our Jenny Craig Classic menu, as long as they do not have any health conditions other than seasonal allergies or asthma and have their parent's permission.

    Our bodies and metabolism change as we age. At Jenny Craig we help you reach your weight loss goals whether you're a new mom or post menopause. Our weight loss consultants are your one-on-one coaches who know to help you create a weight loss plan that works.

  • Can men do Jenny Craig?

    Don't let the name mislead you! Jenny Craig's weight loss program for men works!     We have several pricing options for Jenny Craig plans. With our trial program, you pay a small fee that provides you with a dedicated personal consultant and access to our delicious Jenny Craig menus. We recommend this program for those who have 16 lbs or less to lose.

    Our Premium program includes a 12-month membership with a minimal enrollment fee and monthly cost. We recommend this program for those with more than 16 lbs to lose. For a fraction of the cost of one visit to a nutritionist, this program provides you with unlimited access to weight loss coaching and support with a weight loss expert — as well as access to Jenny Craig's delicious menus.

  • What's the best physical activity routine to follow while on Jenny Craig?

    We personalize your plan to fit your daily routine, so which activity you follow is up to you. We encourage our members to maintain a healthy lifestyle that includes activity, and we want you to choose whichever exercise makes you comfortable and you enjoy! Your consultant is there to provide suggestions and support you, no matter what you choose.

  • Can I do Jenny Craig while I am breastfeeding?

    We require that mothers of infants wait until their baby is at least 6 weeks old to enroll, even if you're not breastfeeding. Nursing mothers follow a modified calorie level based on the child's age and frequency of breastfeeding.
