Ingredients

3 cups  
cooked rice
3 cups  
2% milk
1/2 cup  
sugar
3 Tbls  
butter or margarine
1 tsp  
vanilla extract
 
fresh berries (optional)
 
bunch fresh mint sprigs (optional)

Directions

  1. Combine rice, milk, sugar and butter. Cook over medium heat until thickened (about 30 minutes) stirring often.
  2. Add vanilla.
  3. Pour into serving dish(s).
  4. Serve hot or cold.
  5. Garnish with fresh berries and/or fresh mint if desired.

    Makes 6 servings. Per Serving: 2 Starch, 2 Fat, 1/2 Milk.
