- 3 cups
- cooked rice
- 3 cups
- 2% milk
- 1/2 cup
- sugar
- 3 Tbls
- butter or margarine
- 1 tsp
- vanilla extract
- fresh berries (optional)
- bunch fresh mint sprigs (optional)
- Combine rice, milk, sugar and butter. Cook over medium heat until thickened (about 30 minutes) stirring often.
- Add vanilla.
- Pour into serving dish(s).
- Serve hot or cold.
- Garnish with fresh berries and/or fresh mint if desired.
Makes 6 servings. Per Serving: 2 Starch, 2 Fat, 1/2 Milk.
