Dear Jenny,
Last September, I celebrated my 35th birthday. I weighed 195 pounds, had a beautiful 3-month-old baby ... and also had 10 excess pounds to lose from my pregnancy.
I woke up that day and decided that I wanted to change my life to a much healthier one. I had always maintained my weight around 185 pounds and had never dieted. But something in me wanted to really change the way I ate and how I felt about myself. My mother had successfully joined Jenny Craig years ago, so I asked her for a membership for my birthday.
When I started the Jenny Craig Program, I didn't know what to expect. I was afraid it was going to be very difficult to stay on a weight loss program with three children and a husband who enjoys eating quite a bit. But I was wrong - it was easy for me to follow, and I never felt hungry!
I really enjoyed (and still enjoy) everything about the program. I started taking my Jenny's Cuisine food with me everywhere I went, since I was already taking the baby's things with me anyway. I began exercising regularly. The whole experience has been great!
After I reached my goal weight, I realized I didn't want to remain at that weight. I set a new, lower goal of 145 pounds, and have never been as thin as I am now. I love it. And to top it off, I've since been on several vacations and have continued to lose weight!
I've changed my lifestyle and know I will continue to be a success. Thank you, Jenny Craig, for showing me the way to do this.
