It Hit Me…
I had the opportunity to travel down to San Diego this week for a big “unveiling” of my new weight to some key Jenny Craig players. (Well, about, 400 to be exact.) These are the managers, directors, etc. from Jenny Craig centres all over the country. Anyway, they didn’t think I was coming and I pre-recorded a ‘sorry I couldn’t be there, but…’ message. At the end of the tape, I ran out and surprised them and it was SO great to see their faces.
When I got to the podium, I actually said for the first time out loud, “I did it! I reached my goal!” I don’t know, maybe it was the echo of the big room, but it was a huge moment for me. And I kept thanking them – and everyone at Jenny – for being there, supporting me…it was just such a great day. And I hung out with them all day. In fact, they sort of couldn’t get rid of me.
Don’t they know they changed my life???
“Yeah, yeah, Valerie. We’ve heard it all before.” They didn’t actually say that, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were thinking it. I mean, they change people’s lives every day!
