Week 81 11/11/2008
Good news, bad news
The good news is that life’s been good. Specifically, with my CAREER. I shot the pilot for a new sit-com slated for TBS, starring yours truly. It should air in June, I think? Anyway, FINGERS crossed you all love it. It feels so great to be back in that world again! Also still working on my talk show … I’ll keep you posted as that develops. So being busy with my career feels incredible. (I can thank Jenny for part of that.) With long days on the set, fitting in a workout has been tough. But I am working on a plan with the help of Kathy. She recommended that I try it at night — hop on my treadmill in front of the TV before bed. (Thank goodness for TiVo!) I wasn’t thrilled about the idea of being inside - I typically prefer to exercise outside, either walking with my weighted vest or doing sports. But it’s all about choices. You can do it even if you are doing it a little differently.
Speaking of … while on the set of my sit-com pilot, I brought a bunch of Jenny snacks with me to keep on hand in my trailer. I looked like Little Red Riding Hood with by basket of goodies! But they served me well — again, it’s all about choices … healthy choices.
Tom’s been really busy with work too. Busier than me, it seems. But being a team has really helped both of us stay on track while on the maintenance program. We enjoy following the Jenny Craig planned or personalized menus during the week — just to simplify our lives - and then we “day-on-our-own it” (his term) over the weekend.
So … so far so good
