Week 7 04/22/2007
Hello, Bush!
Well, truth be told…I never actually met the president at Saturday’s Correspondents’ Dinner in D. C. But, I did meet my favorite Bush…REGGIE, the running back who helped SAVE the New Orleans Saints last year! (My opinion, of course). In case I haven’t shared this with you, I am a HUGE football fan. I swear, in a previous life I must have been a linebacker. But THANKFULLY, in this life…my new Jenny Craig life…I no longer look like one.
Traveling while on the program was really easy. As was true with NY, I’m really familiar with D.C. (one of my favorite towns) so I knew where to go/eat, etc. It is all about planning on Jenny Craig. Sure, you have to live your life…including spontaneity…but I really didn’t feel ready to stray on my own too much. (Kathy, my Jenny Craig consultant, said I was ready, though. Love her.)
So I’m glad to be back. Dexter (my cat) ended up having surgery over the weekend. We get to pick him up in a couple of days. Poor little guy. Can’t wait to have him back. My house is off-balance without all of my boys in-check…
