Another 1.4 pounds lost!*

So that’s a total of 18.2*! Somehow I missed my “halfway” celebration. Remember, I’m shooting for around 30 pounds (although, I may want to change my goal and shoot for more! I’ve noticed on the boards that a lot of you do that…start with one goal in mind, then realize how great Jenny is and set a new goal).

I think with my travels, my cat (I pick him up from the hospital tomorrow :) ), etc, I forgot to celebrate. So…’Way to go, Val!’

Typically at this stage in the program you start to phase off Jenny’s Cuisine and launch into “meals on your own”… Are you kidding me? My vacation’s over and I need to cook again? Perhaps I won’t tell my family…

Seriously, to ANYONE who is reading this blog, Jenny Craig is fantastic. I keep thinking back to my pre-jenny days…If I hadn’t picked up their call that fateful day…where I would be. UNSETTLED AND UNINFORMED. Yes, I knew that I wasn’t supposed to be eating huge restaurant-sized entrees, drenched in butter. But I didn’t know WHY I did it anyway. Why was I so…powerless? So far on Jenny Craig, I have identified that I ate when I was stressed, anxious, or bored. “Emotional eating” and “unconscious eating” plagued my life. So I still eat ALL the time, it seems…but it’s the right foods and for the right reasons.

Oh, but why does butter have to be so evil?
