Memorial Day Hike
There’s this great hike called Pinnacle Peak in Scottsdale that Tom and I have hiked a hundred times. (Ha! With me stopping about three times along the way to catch my breath!) BUT NOT THIS TIME. We hiked up the mountain AND down in 90-degree weather with only one break (at the top) to say ‘Can you believe we didn’t have to stop?’
And yesterday, Tom played 18 holes of golf. The past few years he has stopped at 12 holes, simply because he was exhausted. But he blew through them!
Last night the two of us went out to dinner and it was great. I ordered the most delicious fish. It’s funny - I used to completely stress about eating out. But it’s really easy now.
Anyway, I’ve had a fantastic mini-vacation and feel great, thanks to Jenny Craig.
Gotta go. My family is about to pry me off the computer for some ‘last-night-on-vacation’ fun.
