I went shopping today!!!! First of all, let me tell you that I am not a shopper but I have been shopping for the past 8 hours! Unbelievable! It was addictive today! Why was today so different? Because I bought all size 8’s!!! Hello? I haven’t seen a size 8* since I passed it and I don’t even remember when that was. I could not stop shopping! I bought a gang of booty shorts. I NEVER wear shorts unless they come to my knee or below and then they aren’t even considered shorts, right? I even bought two dresses that are ABOVE the knee. This behavior is unheard of for me! I had a blast!
It’s funny how the mind plays tricks on you, though. When I first started shopping, I took a size 8 and 10 into the dressing room with me because I thought there is no way that I could possibly fit into an 8. Well, the 10’s* were too big but I continued to take them into the dressing room with me! I did this all day. It was very funny. Then, I tried on these winter wool shorts that were size 8* and they were a little too big but I could not allow myself to purchase a size 6...that would have been crazy! Anyway I had a wonderful day shopping. I spent way more than I intended to, but you know what…I DESERVE IT!
