Satisfy your nachos craving with our Layered Nachos recipe. The healthy secret ingredients of Jenny Craig Turkey Chili, jicama and avocado come together to create a healthier version of nachos in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1   Jenny Craig Turkey Chili
  • 8   cup(s)  tortilla chips
  • 1   tbsp  lime juice
  • 1/2   cup  salsa
  • 1/2   tsp  chili powder
  • 1/2   cup  onion, chopped
  • 1/4   cup  cilantro, chopped
  • 1   jalapeno, thinly-sliced
  • 4   green onions, minced
  • 1/2   avocado, diced
  • 1/4   cup  Cotija cheese, crumbled
  • 1   large tomato, diced
  • 1/2   cup  jicama
  • 1   cup  shredded reduced-fat Colby and Monterey Jack cheese blend

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Spray pan with nonstick cooking spray and saute onion until translucent. Stir in Jenny Craig Turkey Chili, salsa, lime juice, chili powder and simmer about 3 minutes.
  3. In a 9x13 baking dish, place 2 cups of tortilla chips topped with 1/3 chili mixture and 1/4 cup shredded cheese. Layer evenly and repeat 3 times. Bake for 5 minutes (or until cheese is melted).
  4. Top with jicama, tomato, Cojita, avocado, onion, jalapeno and cilantro.
