Enjoy a refreshing Valentine's dessert with our Heavenly Mango Sorbet with Berry Sauce recipe. Using frozen fruits and a ripe banana, you can create a healthy dessert from scratch. Only 65 calories per serving.

Ingredients

  • 1  cup  frozen mixed berries, thawed
  • 1  tsp  honey
  • 1  tsp  balsamic vinegar
  • 1  pinch  pepper
  • 3  cup(s)  frozen mango chunks
  • 1  lrg  ripe banana
  • 1/4  cup  fresh lime juice
  • 2  tsp  grated orange rind

Directions

  1. To make the sauce, place the frozen mixed berries, honey, balsamic vinegar and pepper in a food processor or blender and process until smooth. Refrigerate.
  2. To make the sorbet, combine the frozen mango, banana, fresh lime juice and orange rind in a food processor or blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately for a soft serve consistency, or freeze for 3 hours for a firmer consistency before enjoying.
  3. Top each portion of the sorbet with 2 Tbsp of the berry sauce prior to serving.
