Garlic Basil Beef Kabobs are a perfect addition to any BBQ or dinner. The easy-to-make marinade uses fresh basil, garlic, and Italian salad dressing. This dish pairs well with our Parmesan Orzo side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1   lb(s)  boneless beef top sirloin steak, cut 1-in thick
  • 1   Tbsp  fresh basil - chopped
  • 1   Tbsp  Italian salad dressing
  • 2   large cloves garlic, minced
  • 2   red or yellow bell peppers, cut into 1-in pieces

Directions

  1. Soak eight 8-inch bamboo skewers in water 10 minutes; drain.
  2. Cut beef into 1-inch pieces.
  3. Combine 1 tablespoon basil, dressing and garlic in large bowl.
  4. Add beef and bell peppers; toss to coat.
  5. Alternately thread beef and peppers evenly onto bamboo skewers.
  6. Place on grill over medium, ash-covered coals.
  7. Grill, uncovered, 8 to 10 minutes for medium-rare to medium doneness, turning occasionally.
