What a difference you have made in my life! I have never struggled with my weight until a few years ago. No matter what I tried to do, the pounds kept creeping on. I found I wanted to stay home more and stopped working out. I felt a bit down and would not even think of putting on a bathing suit. When the kids would swim I would wear flowing dresses to hide the extra weight. I also felt tired all the time with little energy for the things I needed to do. Once I hit my highest weight ever, I knew I had to do something.
I didn't even weigh this much when I was nine months pregnant. My husband also wanted to lose some weight, so we discussed doing it together to support each other. We decided on the Jenny program. That is when we met with Teresa at the Yorba Linda center. She is wonderful, is so upbeat, and taught us a lot about portion control. I lost 18 lbs* on Jenny and I feel great! I box five to six times a week, try to run three miles every other day, and have just started working out with weights twice a week. We have just been on vacation and I wore a bikini for the first time in years. I also went shopping last week and bought some jeans in a size that I've not worn in 12 years. I feel strong, confident and so much happier. I find I spend more time with the kids outdoors, and I have so much energy. Losing the weight has helped me have the confidence to box, run and work out with weights. I am now more conscious of what I am eating and have a very healthy diet, thanks to what I learned with Jenny.
