Enhance Your Jenny's Cuisine® with Farmers Market Produce

With summer officially underway, a brilliant array of fruits and vegetables are at their flavorful peak—so it’s the perfect time to make a visit to your local farmers market! Grab a straw hat, some sunscreen and a few shopping totes…then check out these four easy ideas for freshening up your favorite Jenny’s Cuisine® meals.

1. Zucchini
This veggie can make any meal feel like a breezy summer day. It’s delicious to steam, roast or grill and mix into Jenny’s Cuisine. Try it with Cheesy Potatoes & Chicken, Creamy Chicken & Corn Chowder or Southwestern Chicken with Rice. It’s also a great side dish, sauteed with cooking spray, garlic, onion and herbs. 2. Bell peppers
These are rich in Vitamin A, which can strengthen your immune system and protect your skin from environmental damage, plus beta carotene for healthy eyes and strong vision. Halve and dice a pepper, then sauté it with a bit of cooking spray for a healthy addition to our Cheddar Cheese Omelet, Beef Chow Meinor Sesame Chicken. Feeling adventurous? 3. Tomatoes
These are loaded with lycopene, which is another important nutrient that can help reduce the effects of sun exposure on the skin.
