Program Options: Jenny Craig for Teens
A Weight Loss Program as Unique as You Are
You're unique and we understand that. The Jenny Craig Adolescent Program can help you develop healthy habits to reach a weight that is right for you! You will have your own personal Consultant to help you make a plan each week. Weight loss during adolescence can be a challenge because your body is still growing and developing, so a safe rate of weight loss is no more than ½ to one pound per week.1 We will also measure your height monthly, because as you grow taller you may grow into your weight.
Learn How to Handle Real Life Situations
In your weekly one-on-one consultations you will get advice for dealing with things that are important to you. Are you worried about how to fit in a fast food lunch or going to after-school activities where there will be high calorie food? Our Consultants have tips to help you lose weight while staying involved with school and social events. They also have lots of ideas for making fitness fun, whether it's playing basketball, dancing or spending the day shopping at the mall with friends. It all burns calories!
A Note to Parents
Research tells us that support and motivation, especially from you, can make a big difference in your teen's weight loss success.2 When your teen enrolls in Jenny Craig, we will give you some information to help you support them on their weight loss journey. Make it easy for them to follow the Program by serving as a role model for a healthy lifestyle. Reinforce their new behaviors by showing interest in their efforts, recognizing their successes, and offering encouragement during challenges. If you have any questions or concerns about the Program we invite you to contact us – we are ready to help in any way we can!
The Jenny Craig Adolescent Program is available in the United States, and is appropriate for healthy teenagers 13-17 years old. We do not enroll children who are younger than 13 years of age, have a health condition that requires medication, or teens who are pregnant or breastfeeding as we feel the specialized needs of these individuals are best met by a medical professional.
