Can you imagine 6 1/2 years ago I was 4 pounds away from my goal, and I found out I was pregnant. I was on top of the world thought I could manage. I gained all of it back and then some. Then I went back on Jenny 4 months post birth and once again got down close to my goal and guess what pregnant again. This pregnancy was awesome for weight gain and fitness. It wasn't until after he was born that the problems began with post partdom depression. I reached numbers on the scale I never would have dreamed of. But I didn't return to Jenny this time because guess what another big surprise pregnant again. This time the PPD was not going to get me I starting exercising 5 weeks after he was born and worked hard, but wasn't getting the results I needed on the scale. So after 10 months post birth and I showed up at Jenny again. I was motivated, focused, determined and nothing was going to get in my way. I lost 6 pounds in my first week and 24pounds within 2 months. Got shuffled around with consultants quitting, so I wasn't getting good support. Basically since Oct 2008 until Feb I was sitting idle, then my consultant quit (thank god). That is when I met Nadia and she is awesome and she got me back on track and loosing again!
But in June I had knee surgery and although I have been exercising with that (not to the same capacity), my weight has been yo-yoing. I will have 2 good weeks and then I fall off the wagon. Nadia suggested that I get a buddy for some additional support, someone that will kick my butt and help me snap out of it.
And I believe that if I can help someone through their program too, this will ultimately help get through this!

Hi there
I too am looking for a buddy. I have done so many plans and now I really like Jenny but I find I need more support than the 1x a week. How are you doing since your last post?

I hear ya! I am on week 7 and gained 2 pounds over Thanksgiving! I am upset with my self, cuz I was so excited to have been down 7.5 in 6 weeks.... Now what? Start over again? Why did I eat and drink so much over that weekend. I know better. My body and alchol do not mix. I go weigh in this saturday and I hope to god I am down 2 or more pounds. But I hear you about the down 2-3 and back up. I was doing that for a year and that is why I went to Jenny Craig. I needed the extra help. Food is my drug and I need to figure out how to live with it not for it. Right?

Can I recommend a good book for continuity?
First, pledge to yourself that you are going to do the program, preferably on the Planned menu, for a solid 100 days. If that sounds like too much, pare it down to one month. Write up a contract with yourself pledging to follow through until the end of the time period you choose, and post it on the fridge. Remember: Do not be more ambitious in your goal than you really believe you can do. Break the larger goal up into doable chunks, so you can get some solid success under your shrinking belt.
Then start the book, "100 Days of Weight Loss" by Linda Spangle. Read the daily focus each and every day, and do the exercises at the end of the chapter.
I'm going to start a 100 Days thread in the General forum, and you are welcome to come and join it.

Hey EllenWheels you hit the nail on the head. That is the perfect idea for the people that are struggling. I have gone thru some but not very many weeks where i either didn't lose or lost only a little. We must keep in mind that we are doing this fabulous journey for ourselves so therefore we must focus on our main goals. This is the best thing I could have ever done for myself. Keep up the good works.
