I just restarted JC, and am wondering what new foods are on the horizon over the holiday season. I love the pumpkin spice cake! Anything new coming?

No news today at my center. I agree that Jenny really needs new meals.

My counselor mentioned a cranberry chicken salad kit.

Its a turkey cranberry salad kit. They have been bringing it on November for the last few years, and its REALLY GOOD... much better than the other salad kits. The applesauce in this one is superb, way better than the other kind.

I admit to having a stack of the cups of applesauce from the salad kits in my pantry - not a fan. How is the other applesauce different?

Oooooh, its kinda chunky and has some cinnamon. It is seriously tasty stuff! Its way better than any I've ever tried from a store. It doesn't have any of that fakey plasticky taste you often get from fruit cups.

To me it reminds me of apple crisp, minus the crunchy topping.

I agree that the cranberry turkey salad is yum-mo, I'm really looking forward to it! I have no idea why it's so much better than the others (and wish they would improve them all) but I will be stocking up -- it's the only salad kit I enjoy.

I'm surprised there are no announcements of special holiday meals or snacks. Now would be the time to help people stay away from the holiday party crazes!

I only heard about the salad kit too.

In general, I hope they bring in more chicken or veggie dishes. There's too many that are beef!

I feel as though the turkey cranberry kit was a little bland though I will continue to order it until it is gone since I don't like other 2. I was looking forward to the cranberries and I could barely taste them I may add a bag of craisins next time. Though I did LOVE the applesauce that comes in it. I wish I could buy that at the store. It had the same top as Walmart brand apple sauce does so maybe I need to look closer at applesauce in the store and find a nestle one.

Probably. Don't they come every year for December? Warning -- they are a family-size box and so for them to fit into your day as a snack you have to portion them out.

I had the cranberry turkey salad kit today,i loved the apple sauce,the turkey stuff(cant think what it's called)was like the chicken and tuna,so wasnt that impressed with that.
