Went in to WI today and lost another 1.6lbs!
Making it a total of 25lbs in 3 months!!!!!!!
In celebration of feeling great I treated myself to a mani/pedi. What does everyone else do? Since we shouldn't be treating ourselves with food, what kind of things do you all do when you're celebrating your success??

I bought myself a hoodie at 10 lbs lost, 20 lbs got me jeans and 30 lbs I bought a necklace that that has an elephant charm and a charm that says lucky. I'm done losing, but if I maintain for the year I'm going to get a massage.

At 25 I also got a mani/pedi, plus a facial. It was the first time I had ever done anything so extravagent like that! For halfway, hubby had promised to take me to Hawaii, but due to finances we changed it to a romantic weekend in San Fran without the kids.
At this point I've found that my shoe size has gotten smaller, so from this point on I plan to buy 1 new pair of shoes for every 5 pounds. Hubby says we will go to Europe for 2-3 weeks once I have stayed at goal for a year.
Take care,
Angela

Ninamarie- a massage sounds really nice and decedant!
and Emerald Green: You've got a really sweet hubby!!! I'd love to go to Hawaii or Europe, maybe I'll plan a trip once I hit goal.
For now, a mani/pedi and a new pair of pants sounds good (I need new pants b/c nothing fits!!)
Thanks for your ideas and congrats on your success

Thanks Amy--I can't wait, only 4 months and 22 days to go. I figure if I maintain I'm going to get back half of my fee, so, might as well put it to good use.
Something else that keeps me motivated is buying new workout clothes. Usually pants and sports bras. Being able to get into smaller clothes makes me happy

, especially at the gym.

What does everyone plan to do when they hit goal weight. I want to go white water rafting with my husband and two kids. They have seen me through all my ups and downs and I want it to be a family celebration. Also I want to drive a jet ski next summer at the beach.

These all seem like awesome ideas.
White water rafting sounds like so much fun!!!
This week I've lost track of my goals, no cheating or anything, but losing faith in the program.
Maybe if I hit half way tomorrow at weigh in, my celebration will be a regained confidence.
Good luck everyone!

I can't wait until I'm small enough to fit into one of those cute hoodies. You know, like the kind from Pacific Sunwear, or somewhere like that.

That will be my prize to myself.... when exactly, I don't know.

It sounds like you guys do a lot of fun things to reward yourselves. I reward myself weekly for staying on plan, so I usually do small $5 rewards. So far I've been doing votive candles, nail polish, tea and last time I got myself a necklace. Does anyone have any other ideas for some $5 rewards?

May sound crazy, but buy yourself a coloring book and some crayons. Helps keep your hands busy when you want to eat. Plus it make you smile as you color. Weird huh?

Thanks Virginia Lady,
That's one idea I haven't thought of yet. I find that puzzles do the same thing. Any other $5 reward ideas out there?

Hey VirginaLady Congrats on being down 25lbs!! (sorry for the delayed response!)
Hope you had a good time at the slots, and thanks for the creative ways to celebrate.
Good job to everyone else too! We are all examples of how great and easy JC is and it's fun to see that we're making good progress.
Since I originally posted about being down 25lbs, I'm now down 35lbs!!! I don't know how, but I'm so happy for myself! I think at 40lbs I'll get myself a haircut or something nice like that.
Hope you all are well, and keep up the good work!!!!

I've bought three dresses from Overstock that all have short sleeves. Silly me, it's cold now. But I have the dresses hanging up on my door. My favorite dress I plan to wear when my husband gets home from Iraq on the 21st (just for 2 wks). My goal is to be six pounds lighter by then. So shopping has been my reward. LOL
Motivation: my husband's return
Motivation: The Biggest Loser
Motivation: Losing It on Discover Health Channel

I just went to my second weigh in and lost 3.4 pounds bringing two week total to 6.2!!! YAY!!!! TO celebrate, I drive through (wait for it, wait for it) Wendy's (uh-oh) and get a small DIET COKE!!! I love fountain drinks and I'm trying to cut back on sodas (diet as well) so it is becoming a fun little tradition, two weeks running. It is on the way home and it is nice to know when I'm ordering that I'd celebrating. SO much so that when I ordered I smilled this HUGE GRIN at the poor cashier who had NO idea what was going on (of course) and probably thought I was a little nuts.

I have all my mini goals and rewards posted in my signature.
I think everyone has some GREAT ideas for what to reward themselves with.

Mine are mostly clothing related, except for my piercing, tattoo and spa things.

Which i'm addicted to, so what better to celebrate with that something I already love!

I think my workout clothes I'll get myself once I get to 160, will be from lululemon too.
Currently there is NO way I'd be able to squeeze into anything of theirs other than a headband LOL!
But one day soon, i'll be wearing their pants, tops AND sweaters. heck yes! lol
I'm looking forward to the new bathing suit as well.
I'm going to Canada's Wonderland in July with some friends and I'd love to be able to show off. lol!
Massages are a great way to reward yourself!
Being a Massage Therapist myself, I get a little jealous because I want to be on the table

I'm going to have a great spa day at one of the most lavish spas in my city when I reach 150 lol.

I finally wore one of my dresses that I bought on Overstock.com two months ago. I took the tags off Valentines night and wore it for the first time. Hubby took me out to dinner. That was a treat, a celebration, and a great feeling to fit into that dress!!!

Great ideas everyone! I've been struggling with some of the little milestones and what to do. The big ones are easy!
At halfway my husband got us tickets to the ballet! He's been promising since we've met 10 years ago, but now he HAD to!
At 80 pounds I went ziplining!
At 100 pounds I plan on going skydiving
I'm also going to make my husband go to jive dance classes with me. I just haven't attached a number to that one.
And the last thing is that when I hit goal, my husband is going shopping with me and I'm going to be Barbie, and he's going to pick out all new cloths for me!

maybe you could take that $5 and put in savings account, then when you have lost goal weight you might have big savings account to do something big.

Macy's had a sell around Valentine's Day, and I bought myself two sets of pearls (an opal pair & a pink opal pair -- necklace & earrings) for $75. I opened on for Valentine's Day, and I'm saving the other for when I lose the weight. It's wrapped up and waiting in my dresser drawer.
Other than that, I don't do weekly celebrations or anything like that. I want to focus on losing the weight, and not the reward because the reward will be me being lighter & healthier.
