I asked on the JC Dietitician board the exchanges for a LARGE slice of PLAIN pizza. The first time around i got the exchanges for a large slice of PEPPERONI pizza. After asking a second question (i couldn't post to my original pizza post on there for some reason), the Dietician replied with the exchanges for a MEDIUM slice of plain pizza! Seriously?!?!?!

Anyway... so i'm asking for someone's help. Does anyone know the exchanges for a large slice of plain cheese pizza? According to Pizza Hut, the nutritionals are as follows:
350 calories
14 g fat
37 g carbs
15 g protein

I figured it out to 2.5 starches, 1 meat, and 2 fats, however when the Dietician calculated the pepperoni pizza slice for me she said it was 2 starches. So i just want to make sure i'm right.

Thank you in advance smile.gif

Just so you know..you can never respond to a dieticians response..you have to start a new question just like you had done. Dumb..but thats how they set it up. Personally I think if you started the topic to the dietician then you should be able to respond to it. But whatever.

To be 100% sure...post 1 more dietician question with the exact nutritional information you posted below. If you give them the nutritional information instead of "what would a blah blah blah be' then you know the exchanges will be correct. If you post with 'what would a blah blah blah be' then they just take an estimate kind of. I have just found that it is better to post the nutritional information if you have it.

I would call it 2 1/2 starch instead of 2 myself but again, I would post the nutritional info you have to the dietician. Then you KNOW the answer is ok.

Thanks! that is annoying you can't respond to the original post. I guess that's how they keep track of what they have/have not answered by just going through the ones with "0" in responses! smile.gif
