Does anyone do the Jenny Direct program even if you have a center nearby? Is the cost/food the same?
This is a rather random question but have all the consultants lost weight on Jenny Craig?
One last consultant question, are you "assigned" a consultant? If so what if you just don't care for her? Is it awkward to switch?
Thanks

I am a consultant for Jenny Direct so I will go ahead and answer.
Yes, the cost of the food is the same but you do pay a shipping fee. It is $65 for a two-week frozen order. If you order four weeks at a time you get a discount in shipping. It still comes every two weeks but you only pay the one $65 fee rather than two. If you do shelf stable foods only it is $26 for a two week order.
As far as consultants losing weight, no, not all of them have. Some simply don't have a weight problem, others may not be ready to tackle their personal weight challenge yet, and of course, many others do follow the program and lose weight. Jenny Craig STRONGLY encourages all their staff to "be the brand" by pursuing a healthy weight but obviously, as a business they cannot force their employees to lose weight or discriminate and hire people based on size. Therefore you will find consultants of all shapes and sizes and in various places with their weight loss journey.
When you sign up for the program you are asked what day/time you would prefer to do your weekly consultation. Then the computer system auto-assigns you to a consultant that is available at that time. It is random selection. If you don't click with your consultant you can simply call into customer service and switch. It is not a big deal and happens all of the time. There are about 100 of us at Jenny Direct so you can keep searching until you find a good match.

Yep, same foods. If you live in certain parts of Canada, Alaska or Hawaii you can't get the frozen food but other than that, it is the all the same foods/ same prices.

Can I have a consultation over the phone and pick up the food in the center? The reason I ask is because I work and live 45 miles away from each other and would hate it if my food was sitting at my door for too long, and either it started to de-thaw and/or was stollen from my doorstep.

Nope. They are two separate parts of the company and you have to chose one or the other. (unless you live in Portland or Philadelphia, those are our two test markets for this as we would eventually like to offer that option)
