Wow, a new month, a new season and maybe a new day to recommit to our journey.
Today I pledge positive mindset - there will always be bumps in the road and rainy days, but there will also be sunshine and love.
Here's to focusing on what is "good" and not what is "bad"
May we all succeed to our own satisfaction.

Hi Everyone,
I pledge today to push my activity stage up. Sort of been stuck on the "preparation” stage for a while.
Today was my WI and was a bit disappointed with my 0.4lbs lost
but got totally hyped up as its been one month that I’ve been on JC and after the measurements were done... I had lost 7.5 inches. Yippee!!!
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend

Good Morning one and all!
Welcome to all newcomers and repeat posters,
Had a good WI on Saturday, still amazed that it has been 8 weeks since I restarted and in total I've lost 22.6lbs, this truly is the only "program" that has worked for me and trust me, I've tried so many different diets and such.
Today I pledge to be thankful for all that I have in my life and to focus on all that is positive. I will also get on the treadmill again tonight.

Hi All!
Biggest Loser was good, I like how this season, they seem to talk more about what they are eating and what are better food choices to make, than in past seasons.
I am proud to say that I did some form of exercise on ALL the commercial breaks and the show is 2 hours long. I had forgotten it was 2 hours and for a mere moment I thought, maybe I'll just do the commercial breaks in the first hour, but then I realized I had written it down here, to do it for all of the commercial breaks and I wanted to be accountable so I did all the commercial breaks in the 2 hours.
Wow, I sure seem to be rambling.
Today I pledge 60 crunches and of course the treadmill.
I heard this and thought how appropriate for us all ... your current weight doesn't define you, your determination does!
Bye for now friends,
Anita

I also recently adopted a dog. As I've never owned a puppy before, a little overwhelmed at the moment with the whole house-breaking and training stuff but loving it. A lot less time for me to reach for food and much more time enjoying the outdoors.
Wishing all of my fellow Canadians a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Good morning everyone,
Great pledges!
Being honest and realistic to ourselves is the first step and I pledge to reflect on that today. I know I'm doing good, but on some level, I keep telling myself - you could do better... I need to focus on my positives and realize life happens - I know on my vacation I want to practice portion control - If I want something, I'm going to have it, but I plan to be accountable for it and when I return, it's back on the JC train - not waiting a year to get back on...
Have a great on plan day everyone.

Hi cyber gal pals,
Here's to an awesome day.
Today, I pledge to push myself on the excercises a little more than yesterday.
Summerbug, how is the new puppy? We have a little Bichon dog and he is the joy of our lives. My husband and I were not fortunate to have kids so our little "Scruffles" as we have named him, has become part of our little family.
Bernie, I admire your pledge on honesty. Always be true to yourself and the rest will follow.
Laura, I am getting excited about the cruise. My husband and I have been second guessing ourselves on it, saying now maybe we should have just saved the money, but we love to travel and we work hard and we do our RSPs, etc so we figured why not. So I hope we enjoy it, to it's fullest. We catch the cruise ship in Boston, so we are spending 3 days in Boston before, get on the ship, do the Carribean ports and the end in Miami, where we'll spend 3 extra days there. Who knows if we will ever be able to do this again, so we want to make the most of it.
After a good friend died suddenly in a car accident a few years back, I try to keep telling myself that life is too short and you never know what tomorrow brings. My friend had wanted to do so much and suddenly her life ended and her husband and 2 young boys were left behind. So I am trying to get my mind into the habit of living life to it's fullest with the ones that matter in your life.
So new day, new outlook and a big hooray to all of us who are taking control of our weight.
Holding my hand out to the next pledger...
Smiles and Sunshine always

Hi Everyone,
I must admit that my most favorite part is checking up on my cyber family. Keep up the great work everyone!
Tomorrow will be my weigh in and admit that I’m afraid as to what the scale will say as I think that I made some damage as I slide into some bad habits this week. Seems like week 6 I broke down and fell off on wagon and went on a binging spree. The toughest thing seems to be forgiving yourself for being human and cleaning the slate to begin fresh again. Which is why on that note I pledge to work on positive thinking and positive reinforcement.
My puppy training has been quite a learning experience. The house breaking has its ups and downs but at the end it was totally worth getting my four-legged friend. She cracks me up as she’ll be full of energy for 10-15 minutes and then it’ll be lights out and she’s snoozing away for an hour or so. Must admit that there’s not a dull moment with her around.
Wishing all my cyber gals a wonderful TGIF.
PS Someone say cruise? Anita I wish you and your husband an awesome trip. I cannot wait to hear all about your amazing adventure!

Good morning!
Tomorrow is my WI, so I'm thinking positive (sometimes easier to say then get the mind to do) - I've been eating 100% JC, but it was TOM and so for 2 days I didn't do my usual exercise - I wish I wasn't so hooked on the number on the scale.
Good luck Summerbug on your WI tomorrow also. Life happens and like you said, sometimes we are the hardest on ourselves. I am going to dread WI when I get back from vacation.
Bernie, I hope your day went well yesterday.
Positive thoughts ...

Hello Cyber-sistas,
Today I pledge to focus on being mindful to be excellent at all I am called to do. This includes love myself the way I would my best friend.
I forgive myself. I know it isn't about food or a number on the scale. I won't make it about that anymore.
It only has the power I want to give it and my talking about it and focusing on it will only make it bigger in my life. And me bigger lol...
It is my birthday tomorrow and my nephews (who are 12 year old twins) called me tonight to invite me to "The Keg" steak house. My automatic response was NO! what about the diet? what about the number?what about the temptation? what if food wins again? and I started to lie and say I had to work and caught myself. I was letting food be the biggest thing in my life AGAIN. Not behaving excellently. A more excellent decision was the one I made to go and enjoy my family and celebrate the occasion mindfully. We are worth that my sistas.
Sending you peace

Hi Everyone,
Bernie... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Wishing you all of the very best and I'm proud that you didn't let food dictate your life. Way to go!
Well today was my weigh in (and the moment of truth), as I had fell off that famous dieting wagon and binged on stuff that I KNOW I shouldn't of, etc... Considering what I had eaten that wasn't on my JC plan the damage wasn't as bad as I thought it would of been. Only gained 1/2 pound but planning on getting back on track and successfully kicking this binging issue of mine.
Which brings me to my pledge. Today I pledge to work on my self-acceptance and self-care to prevent my lapses.
Wishing all my cyber gals a terrific weekend and successful JC day.

Grats Summerbug. That is a courageous and bold statement. When I lapse I will remember that I can still accept and care for myself. Thank you.

Hello spirit friends! The cyber world is spirit "like".
I pledge that by the end of this month the thought "I am worth it" will be automatic in my mind.
I intend to be mindfully aware of my thoughts and words everyday and remove the ones that don't support my moving forward. I am set free by the knowledge that positive thoughts and words will not produce a negative result . I am fully responsible to DO THE CHANGING THAT WILL PRODUCE THE CHANGE.
Anita your focus and resolve are epic. Thanks for mapping out the road.

Good Morning Gals,
Hope the week is treating everyone right so far.
"mindful thoughts" and "mindful words" - what a great way of putting it Bernie, so that is my focus today. The Positive thoughts and words will bring an outcome of Positive. As the saying goes, two negatives don't make a right (or a positive, in this case).
May we all succeed to our own realistic expectations.
Wishing you all a great Fall day.

Hi Everyone,
This past week hasn't been a great one but dusted my self off and getting back on track as to why I had started this weight loss journey.

Anita, thanks for the 5 C's to success. I believe that I'll be jotting it down on a post-it and sticking it on my bathroom mirror.
