After watching the new blog post, I'm trying to come up with my goal for the fall. Having just started 2 weeks ago and losing 12 pounds in those weeks, the next thing I have to get on program with is exercise dry.gif .
I want to get so I actually enjoy it.
Any thoughts?
I want to do yoga, but I have so little time in large enough chunks to do it justice.

How about twice a week for the next 4 weeks, plus at least 1 mile walking a day?

Here’s a challenging suggestion; Belly Dancing.
It’s an art form that is far more difficult than it appears and requires daily practice.
It’s a great way to stay fit during those chilly winter months and you will discover muscles you never knew existed.

I second that on Belly Dancing.

I am fortunate enough to have a very good teacher close by, and it is the most fun that I have had in years. I talked a co-worker into doing it as well, and we have become Belly Dance junkies!

But it's providing some motivation to stay out of the Halloween candy... as we have a group performance coming up, and we will have to be in belly baring outfits! (It was going to be Nov. 1st, but it's going to Dec. 6th instead).

I've decided to wear my outfit on Halloween, to answer the door and hand out the candy to the Trick or Treaters! I think that will help me keep MY hands out of the candy that evening! biggrin.gif

I like the Belly Dance idea, I have some tapes, but never thought about checking out a class in the area, I'm also looking at a new job possibility and have to pass a physical and need to run 1.5 miles in 18:26 min. Tried it this morning and I was 3:22 min over, so that is a goal for me to make, because if I want this job, I'm going to have to make it, thank goodness, I get some time to work on it. I've been walking consistantly for a year, but I could tell this morning that I have to bump it up a whole new level. blink.gif

I tried Zumba the other day. Its the newest Latin cardio craze. Had an okay workout, but I can see where it can be great cardio.
