Hi!

I am rejoining after being off the program for 9 months. I had just had a baby and wasn't in the right frame of mind to do it last year. Now that I work full time and have the kids in daycare, I have to get them straight from work and have no time to go to a Jenny Center.

Did you find it hard to to actually get weighed in person?

Jenny DIrect will be more convenient for me but I hope I don;t cheat myself when i have to weigh in at home.

Just starting the same thing. Ordered my food yesterday been about 3 weeks since I was last weight in because I had done a two week appt then was suppose to wi on Sat but called to ask about JD on Friday so I told them I wasn't coming in Sat. am. I really hope it is not a mistake but they said my JDC was great. So I look forward to talking to someone new. I think after a year on program I just get use to things and fall into a pattern that down 1lb up .5 then down .8 up 2. I have been at the same weight for sometime I need a kick in the butt. And understand that I am what I am. cant change the past but the future I can control and the JCC doesn't care if I lie about my weight. I can make any excuse I want to but it is only affecting me. I would only be hurting myself. Being honest can only benefit me. Because she can't help me if I don't tell her what I did or didn't do the week before. Good luck if you want a buddy let me know.

I'm doing Jenny Direct, which I like, but would really like a buddy. I am surprised at the inconsistency of posting on these boards. I was originally posting on the Canadian board, but it sort of fell asleep. I will be a reliable poster if someone wants a buddy.

I joined 8 weeks ago, and am losing really slowly, but I enjoy the program and the food, so I'll keep with it. I have to up my activity in order to lose faster, and think I'm in a frame of mind now to get moving. biggrin.gif

I joined Jenny Direct.... I am a lifetime member, however I dont like my centre at all!!! The last time I was there I had an appointment and I had bring my son, who fell asleep. The woman said to me oh you dont mind waiting, hes sleeping..............what lady???? are you kidding me???? so that was it for me there and that was like a year ago. I work out a lot with spin and weight training and my biggest problem is FOOD... so i am retrying it with Jenny Direct... love to have a buddy

I always went to a center that was about 50 miles from my home. It took at least 3 hours out of my day, and really did nothing more than supply my food a give me a either a pat on the back or asked what went wrong. I joined Jenny Direct about a month ago and absolutely love it! I actually think the food tastes better, maybe not so much chance to thaw/refreeze, I don't know. It works great for me, my consultant calls me every Friday evening, we talk 10-15 minutes and that's it. When my food arrives every other Thursday, I spend about 20 minutes unpacking and putting it away and I'm done. Much more time-friendly for a busy person.

Hello,
I too am thinking about changing from center to direct. Did it cost you anything to switch other then the cost of the food?

I thought the cost of food might be a bit more but they said centers can charge what they want but are usually more expensive. I do agree with the last person the food seems to be a bit fresher. I really noticed it with the cake very moist. The best it has been which that s one of my favorites. I was shocked at the shipping cost way more than I thought it would be. But we will see if I continue this way or go back to the center.

I would love to continue to chat here but I must admit I go online maybe once a day. I was on one group that I loved chatting with but you missed a day and you had so many posts to catch up on and I found my self not reading them entirely because some got long. Then I went on vacation and busy and knew I would never get back into the conversations. I do miss them many times. I had about a month that my weight just went up a few pounds and I got pretty upset at myself and I think I needed a break and a change and that is one reason I went to di rect just to change it up a bit.

There's no additional charge for Jenny Direct, other than shipping. I buy by the month (4 weeks) and I believe I get a discount because of that. At least that's what I remember my consultant saying. They ship every 2 weeks, but you pay just once. It seems pricey, but that's 4 weeks of food, for around $500.00.
