Has anyone tried Extracon.com? I finally joined the community last week. It has taken me this long to figure out what I want to do and how I want to do it. I need as much motivation and accountability possible. Getting me moving is the hardest part. I found this program that is free. You set it up on the computer exactly as you like it. They will either call or text you according to your preferences so many times a day. I can't afford a trainer right now so this seemed like a great option. Having a trainer in the past was awesome just because it required me to show up. Oddly enough, just knowing I have to respond to the call or texts...it has the same effect. Who knew! It is my understanding that technology has been so successful with keeping people accountable that insurance companies and corporations are starting to jump on the bandwagon and require it of their healthcare patients.
