I was at my center today and I read that the Cheese Omelet is coming back! I am so excited! I was getting just a little bored with the breakfast scramble... Happy to have another option, even if its only temporary...

Hi!
I guess the omelet is back this week. My center did not have it yet when I went on Saturday. I've never tried tried it, so I'm glad to hear it's a good thing!

My Center had the omelet today. I brought it home and ate it for lunch. I know....I know....but I couldn't wait. Here's my spin on it.
The cheddar cheese sauce on top is NOT what I was hoping for and neither were the potatoes. The omelet does have some cheddar cheese inside which is really like cheese and not sauce. SO.......I scraped the sauce off of the top of the omelet and stirred it up into the potatoes. It made the potatoes yummy. And then I ate the omelet with just the regular cheese inside.
It's a hit with me!

I also tried the omelet and loved it except for the cheese sauce on top which was disgusting. I scraped mine off as well. I wondered why they put that awful sauce on top when there is plenty of cheese inside the omelet. It was a very filling breakfast and I was surprised it was only 200 calories because there were so many potatoes in this meal.

Great - I've been off the scramble for months.
Is it prepped in a way you can add more veggies?

It sure is! The omelet lifted very easily and you could slide inside any number of cooked veggies. You could also stir the extra veggies up with the cheddar sauce and the potatoes. That would be very yummy and it would keep them from being dry.

I just had it for the first time today and it was delish! My new favorite breakfast. I will take cheese anyway I can get it. I loved the sauce, and it does taste great with the potatoes.

I had this over the weekend. Just an FYI on the price list it is flagged with (T) meaning it is a temporary item. No telling when they will stop stocking them, so I plan on picking up a few spares.
I think the breakfast scramble is still my favorite over the omelet. I like putting the breakfast scramble in a "low carb" whole wheat wrap with a little salsa.
The omelet wasn't bad but I do think it needs a little mushroom, onion and bell pepper. (turn it into a southwestern omelet)

I had the omelet today for breakfast and it was Delish! It tastes even better than I remember it. I have to agree with you Myraid I do enjoy putting my scramble in a lowfat whole wheat tortilla too! But I am happy to have my omelet back. I am picking up a few spares next week myself!

I have not had either the breakfast scramble or the omelet yet. I usually get on-the-go breakfasts since I eat at work (squares, muffins) but was thinking of trying one of these this week. Are they both $4.99?

I almost ordered this when placing my order on Wednesday, but I was worried about what the eggs would be like. I have had the breakfast scramble, and I liked it well enouogh, but the texture of the eggs was a little not-quite-right for me. I'm not sure that I could eat them if they weren't all mixed up with the other stuff.
Soooo, is the texture of the omelet like the eggs in the scramble?
Thanks!

I'm eating the omelet right now for the first time and have to say I'm really liking it! I think the texture of the eggs is very close to real omelet texture. There is just a little too much of the cheese sauce on top of the omelet for my liking....but I'm not a huge cheese sauce fan in general. But I'll definitely be getting one of these every week. It's so filling and satisfying. I think next time I'll add some mushrooms and onions to it too.
A definite winner!

I'm not a big cheese sauce fan either. I much prefer the cheese that is inside the omelet. I've been scraping the cheese sauce off into the potatoes and coating the potatoes.
Yum......

I'm loving the omlette, and I hope they add it permanently. I prefer a savory breakfast, and so many of the JC breakfasts are sweet.
Take care,

LoVe...lOvE...LOVE this entree! OMG I just don't get the deal about "too much cheese" ...to ME...too much and cheese combine to always make a great combination!!! PLEASE make this permanent. For those of us who prefer more protein based breakfasts for post workout recovery we NEED this. Are you listening powers that be? We NEED more meals like this one!!!!! GREAT JOB to the creative team behind this meal!!!! I have so much respect for the professionals behind the scenes of this program who attempt to please the palate of thousands of people. It can't be easy but know that this one is a homerun for sure!

I prefer the higher protein breakfasts, too. When I eat cereal or muffins for breakfast, I don't feel well the rest of the morning. The eggs help me feel satisfied.

I agree....I enjoyed this breakfast and don't get the too much cheeses part...
While I do enjoy the muffins, I find these protein breakfasts more beneficial

I've gotta agree, the cheese omelet was the best thing I've had for breakfast so far on the Jenny plan. The "breakfast scramble" isn't bad either, but I noticed it had a lot of excess moisture..maybe from the eggs or cheese?

I'm so excited to try the Omelet! Particularly because I fail at making omelets on my own.. I just can't do it right. I'm going to pick a few up on Thursday

I am a returning member and remember the special cheese omelet well (from a few years ago). It was a wonderful option. I was so happy to know it had returned. Sadly, it isn't the same. At all. Back to the Breakfast Scramble.

The omelets flew out of my center too, in less than a month. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK!!! They are the best breakfast. I load them up with salsa. The cheese sauce and salsa mixed together makes a delicious sauce over the potatoes and omelet. Really, the cheese omelets need to be a permanent choice for breakfast!
