Jo, welcome. I have been with Jenny for 3 weeks and 3 days. So far I have lost 13 lbs, 8.5 inches and my BMI has gone down by 2%. Some lose more and some less. Don't compare your loss to anyone as we are all individuals.

Would you like to tell us more about yourself? Where you live, what your occupation is, children, grandchildren? Of course you do not have to. Again we are individuals and some love to share more than others.

I am a wife of almost 44 years, mother of 4 and grandmother to 6. I have battled my weight all of my life. Been on many diets and plans - lose the weight then gain it back. As I was beginning to have some health problems I decided it was time for me to get serious about it. Can't tell you how much better I feel after just 3 weeks. I feel better than I have in years.

I am excited for you and look forward to sharing this journey with you.

Take care

Welcome to our little corner of the Jenny world, I hope you enjoy the entire process and make a few friends along the way too.

Like ooak, I have been married for 35 years and have 3 adult children. I also had finally developed some serious health problems directly related to my weight and like her I finally decided to get serious about losing this weight. I am going to be on the very long term plan but have high hope of being successful.

Good luck to you,

suzanne

Hi Ladies, Thank you for the welcome! I am 61, have been married 34 years and have one grown daughter, No grandchildren yet, but I do have a grand-Dog golden retriever ha ha

I gained weight over the past 3 years due to emotional stress eating. My husband's mother lived with us and had Altzheimer's. We cared for her at home until she died this past July and the stress was enormous. My way of coping was to self medicate with food. Now we are starting on another chapter in our lives...retirement together. My husband was recently diagnosed with Diabetes (he is thin as a rail) and with my weight I probably am not far behind unless I do something quick. I'm excited about the JC program and look forward to chatting with you,
Smiles, Jo
