So today I feel so fat, I started JC the last week in dec 08. I was 194 but now I'm 170.8. I just feel that I'm not doing that well. Why can't I feel good for what I have done.

Dear Sweet,

I won't pretend to know what you are going through because I am new to JC and have many pounds to go. But I can tell you that you need to count everyday you have stayed committed to a new and healthy lifestyle as a win for you!

You have stayed with the program for more than 7 months and that is no small thing! As for your weight loss progress- these things really do just take time so please give yourself a pat on the back and be very, very patient with yourself!

If you can't feel good for what you've done, get excited about what's to come! Maybe you need a recommitment like some new workout clothes, accurate journalling, a JC planned menu, a day to clean out your closet and donate old clothes that no longer fit.

Examine your habits and try to tighten up your routine. The results will come. This lifestyle works!

Good Luck.

You are right maybe I need to bump it up a little. I think that I'm too hard on myself.
Thanks

I know 7 months seems like a long time, especially when you see others on here losing at different rates that you are. But I am a newbie - I started last week. And I vowed that no matter how long it took me, I was going to make it to my goal weight. You'll get there, too. We may take longer than others, but that's okay. I just look at your weight loss and think "Wow - one day I'll get there, too!"
