Breakfast this AM - Blueberry Pancakes drizzled with the small package of blueberries leftover from the French Toast yesterday. Package of Equal, a dab of FF sour cream and I had created mini-cheese blintzes! Later for lunch I had a Turkey Burger ... but I longed for more to munch on and so in my hand I had a fat, puffy Jenny chocolate chip cookie to savor with a mug of coffee.

I read the calories on the cookie and quickly put it away. I had come close to cracking but this being "Day 27" so very close to a full 30 days without a single break in the Official Program and having made a vow to myself "NO EXCUSES" this time ... I managed to overcome temptation and soldier on, marching forward not backward adding to my now 648 hours of 1,200 or fewer calories per day.

I feel victorious! I read a few success stories of those who had lost 100+ and they helped keep my mind on the goal of being more healthy with each passing day. Before, I would add an egg here, a bit of this and that and I never lost weight - I wondered why? Wasn't I "almost" following the Plan? Nope, I lied to myself and thius I managed to gain even more weight with each passing year.

I am determined to meet with success this time and much of my mindset is owed to so many of you who also post your fight against fat, for this I thank you.

Suzanne, welcome back! What a wonderful, uplifting post. This is my first time around on JC and am loving it. Tried many other plans in the past, and this one has been the easiest to conform to so far. We'll all do this together; glad to have you back along!
