Hello all,

Does anyone have the Jenny Cusisine cost of each individual food? What's the cheapest? I spent $120 the first week and I would like to spend lower to around $80/week.

Your JCC should be able to tell you how much individual things cost.
I've been keeping track myself. I don't have my price list in front of me, but I can give you these tips:
Get off of the Anytime Bars and don't buy their vitamins
For breakfast, stick with cereals, muffins, and the oatmeal square or honey oat bar. They run about $2.19/ea. Frozen breakfasts run about $4.50-$5.
The lunches and dinners only differ in price by about $1.50 each. I know that the cheapest lunch is the broccoli cheese stuffed potato at about $4.59 or something. I think the most expensive lunch is like $5.99, so there isn't a lot of price difference there.
The most expensive dinner is the teriyaki glazed salmon at $6.99. I don't care for it, anyways. I think the cheapest dinner is about $5.49. Those are the pizzas, the mac and cheese, and I think a few others.
You can even talk to your consultant about supplimenting maybe your own breakfast cereal in order to cut costs.
Oh, and there's no reason to get a Soupitizer.

Good luck! If you figure anything else out, let me know!

I know some people do 100 calorie packs in lieu of the snacks but those are not near as rich in nutrients. To me JC gave me the control I needed to lose the weight. I could not do it on my own I just didn't get how I could do it.

Hello

It's good to know that I'm not the only one who has to carefully monitor which JC foods I buy so that I can keep the costs down.

I am a returning member to JC, so I've had some practice at it. That is why I asked my JCC if I could do my own breakfasts. It saves me about 22 dollars a week. Also, I don't buy the bars either, which further saves me another 16 dollars a week.

Now, I wouldn't recommend that everyone start replacing the JC food with their own food, but in my case it works. For breakfast I have I package of plain oatmeal (which is perfect because I can't "overdo it" because one package is all I get). I have a piece of fruit, a serving of milk (or yogurt), 8 almonds (for one fat) and 1/4 cup of cottage cheese (for the meat part). It works really well for me. But, again, I wouldn't recommend it for everyone. Like I said, I've had previous experience with JC, so I know about replacing foods and stuff. It may not be the best thing for a new member.

Just thought I would add my two cents worth in case it helps anyone...

I spent about 143 on my first week of food. I'm not sure what it's going to be like the second week. Do I need to pick out my next meals or do they have plans for each week? I'm hoping if they do have plans for each week that they are different than the first week. I did not get the anytime bars and I only got 2 soupitizers to try but I'm not going to get them anymore since I don't even like soup that much in the first place.
