I was introduced to Zumba at a local Martini Bar back in April during a Zumba party early on a Saturday evening. All I could think was "Wow!" It looked like such fun and even just watching I could see it was impossible not to be taken in by that latin beat. I couldn't stand still.

It took me a while to get up my courage to show up for a class at my local gym. I've been to three classes now and I'm hooked! Believe me when I say I'm not very good at this ... but anything that keeps me on my feet and moving for 60 minutes is a good thing. I'm a stinky, sweaty mess when class is over. The first class I attended I managed to step on my shoe lace and fall flat on my face. No one noticed! Read: no one was watching me ... they were too busy trying to figure it out for themselves. So, don't be embarrassed and don't be shy. Find out where the nearest Zumba class is in your area and go. You will be so very glad you did!!!

Zumba is A BLAST! I'm not able to attend my Zumba classes right now because I have guests staying for a few weeks, and I really miss it! I cant wait for Saturday of next week when I can get back to it.

Take care,

Love Zumba! Even though I am "hip-challenged", it is great fun just to get up and move in not a traditional type of exercise class - but it will definitly burn the calories and work your core. Turbo Jam is another class I thoroughly enjoy.

The trainer at our gym at work recently got Zumba certified and they've started offering some classes. I really like it. This is as close to FUN that I get exercising - HA HA!!
