[size="5"]hi everyone, just checking this out, i went to a centre for the first time ever last night with m boyfriend, and I am really excited but a little intimidated by all the changes at the same time. we are both doing this, although his reasons for being overweight are so different than mine, so I hope we can be of help to each other, I guess that is the reason I am here, to find other people who I can relate a little more with.

Hi Koukla!
Welcome to JC and the forum. I think you will find lots of people here who understand your challenges and can appreciate what you are going through. I think it's kinda nice that you are doing it together, then you don't have the added challenge of him eating whatever he likes while you are on plan. Good luck to you both, keep us posted on your progress and post any questions you have.

Hi Koukla,
Welcome, I am also new to JC. I have been on it now for almost 1month, and lost 12lbs. It is difficult for me since my husband is not on it and I still cook for him, though he has been doing more of his own cooking.
We still go out to eat once in awhile, I do find myself choosing better meals which I thought would be impossible since I love to eat, (guess that is how I got here).
Anyways, I am trying to lose around 80lbs or more, sometimes it is hard because I want that baked potato or german choc cake (which I love), but I am sticking with JC, and doing what I can.
Keep your head up and we can talk if you like, just email me.
Take care,

I went to the center on Friday and I am starting on Monday! I went out today and got all my fruits and veggies. I am looking to lose 90 pounds. It sounds sooo much but I know I can do it. I have goals for certain weight loss. When I have something to look forward to I think it helps keep me motivated. I like to also come on here cause its nice to know that other people are going through what I am. Hope you do well!!!!

Hello!
I'm on my second day. How great that you and your boyfriend are both doing JC together! I still have to cook for my husband so I think it may be a little challanging at times. Although he wants to lose a little weight too, but doesn't want to join JC. I'm hoping that we can at least go on walks together and things like that to make it easier. Best of luck to you!

Congratulations Newbie! You are going to great. I've been on the program for 4 weeks now and have lost 10 pounds and 14 inches. The first week was really hard for me. Just remember, one pound at a time! :-) Welcome!

Hi Everyone.
Another newbie joining.
I'm on my second day and I'm looking to lose 50.
Just ate my JC breakfast. My real test will come in the evenings when my snacking urges kick in.
As I'm still going over the literature material, hoping that it keeps me distracted.
We can do this together... good luck everyone

Welcome newbies .. Congrats on making the choice to get healthy. Try not to focus on that BIG number .. the total loss. You'll never stick with it if you don't get rewarded for months and months so set mini-goals and celebrate the small successes.
Good luck to all !!!

Welcome Ladies!
I am starting Week 5, and I am so glad I joined the program!
Most of the food is very good. And for me, I find myself eating all day long. I eat about every two hours, still staying within my columns and not eating any extra food, on the 1200 cal plan. You don't have to eat EVERYTHING at the designated time...as long as you get it in at some point in the day.
Keep coming back to the online forum for support!
