Hello All,
I'm new and just received my first food order, i'm on jenny direct as we do not have a centre here and went thru my menu with all the food and i first off was didn't receive some of the things on my planned menu and but it was subsituted for other lunches and suppers, so it does all balance out. But i just realized that i didn't recieve any souptizers!!! they are on my planned menu for each supper!! do i just call the toll free number??

I dont know exactly how jenny direct does there shipping stuff, but at the center they told me that the soupitizers are written on the planned menus but they are optional and cost extra. Maybe they forget to ask you if you wanted them or not, you know like with the anytime bars/ vitamins. But, than again I have heard of them messing up oders before so you will probably want to call and check. Hope that helps.

That is one of the first things I tell people when I do the initial consultation. The soupatizers are optional. They are printed on all the menus to let you know they are available but you won't get any unless you order them. Their purpose is to give you something a little extra if you are feeling hungry. You can always order them next time if that is an issue for you. At this point, you can just ignore them on your menu.

Soupetizers are part of the volumetrics idea, because studies show that people who start a meal off with soup actually eat less calories. Each soupetizer equals two limited free foods. If you are desperate to have something this week, Progresso makes a few Lite soups that are 60 calories per cup. One can has about two cups. So you can buy it at your grocery store and split a can over two days. Then next week you can order soupetizers if you want them.
