When I signed up my JCC (JCDIRECT) just asked my how much i exercised but didnt explain that there were levels they categorized this into. I've always had exercise as part of my life and pretty much daily.

I always try to get in 10,000 "steps" a day and sometimes 20,000 but mostly averages about 15,000 whether it be from a long brisk walk, jogging, or cardio machines at the gym.

i incorpororate strength training 3 days a week by doing weights at the gym or workout dvds using dumbells.

She put me at level 4 (after i had to call back and ask how all the calorie menu plans are calculated). I know I do fairly well in the exercise department as far as getting it in but from reading other posts all over the board it seems like some people do very hard core exercise such as training for marathons, bootcamp classes, etc. which i guess is what i'd consider "level 4"

What do you think? what do you do and what's your level?

I'm going to post this on another board as well b/c i wasnt sure which one was best. Thanks for any input!

I also exercise as part of my life before I joined JC. I have found that my exercise amount seems to be at the high end according to my consultant but we have never talked about levels or anything. It seems though that I may be exercising too much for my calorie level because i am gaining weight now. I work out one hour a day on the eliptical and treadmill combined. Then I walk the dogs for 1/2 an hour and do some gardening and house cleaning. I should be lossing a lot of weight but I am not anymore. What about you? How many calories do you eat/ Have you had this problem? Hope we can help each other.
