HI, FOLKS! I AM A GAL FROM TEXAS, TRANSPLANTED TO TUCKAHOE AND NEW TO JENNY AS WELL AS NY. MY WEIGHT HAS BOUNCED LIKE A RUBBER BALL, AND IT'S TIME TO STOP THE MADNESS. blink.gif MY KNEES HURT, MY CLOTHES LOOK LIKE GUNNY SACKS AND HAVE NO PIZAZZZ! dry.gif ANYONE NEEDING SUPPORT LIKE ME? BEING NEW IS NO FUN, AND NEITHER IS LOOKING LIKE A DESERT CAMEL WITH A SCRAWNY NECK. SO HERE I AM! HUBBIE IS A BRIT, AND AN ENGINEER, I AM A MEDICAL-LEGAL CONSULTANT AND WE HAVE TWO "CHILDREN" WITH 4 PAWS EACH. ( THE 2 FOOTED ONES ARE GROWN WITH CHILDREN OF THEIR OWN) WOULD LOVE TO HEAR HOW OTHERS ARE MANAGING ( SUCCESSFULLY, OR NOT) -- LET ME HEAR FROM YOU! YOU FOLKS OUTSIDE OF NY FEEL FREE TO CALL IN, TOO. US TRANSPLANTS ARE KNOWN TO BE FRIENDLY.

Hey Texas Transplnt.

First: Me too! I'm Texan by choice. Lived there almost 30 years. Austin. Retired to the mountains of Tennessee. Love it here. And besides, Texas just wasn't Texas anymore. Too tame. Too California. Too much concrete and pools. Those little trees were dissappearing faster than the longhorns.

But, what's funnier.... we moved to Texas FROM New York. ugh! I could not do NY again. I was actually born and raised in Jersey. Got outta there when I was 17. Visitation only to both states. Will be going up in the next few weeks to see them relatives and friends that werre left behind. BTW, Tuckahoe sounds like Jersey. Where is it in NY?

Glad you're here! We also have 2 'kids' with 4 paws. All 3 sons are married and going through the challenges that I only remember too well (raising their own kids). And we left 6 grands behind in Texas. Yes, I go through withdrawals.

I've been a Jenny client for 14 months now. On the slow program... but am a lifer by choice. Lost 50 pounds so far -- with 50 to go. Love the prgram. Have a great consultant! And like making my menu planner on-line. Great choices.

Hello Lonestar, welcome to the big apple. I too am a new to Jenny Craig and kind of lost (only my second day)
So I'm afraid can't support you much becuase I'm feeling in the dark as well. Wouldn't mind being your buddy though..Been a New Yorker my whole life, did the City scene and moved further North to the country approx 25 years ago. We are still in the same county though (Westchester). I'm sure its confusing to you right now, but I'm sure eventually all the puzzle pieces will fit . If you have any questions re:NY and even Jenny...I'd would be more than glad to share my knowledge. I always wanted to visit Texas.
I am an empty nester as well...Mom of three (two Legged) granmother of Five (also two legged) but I do have a four legged son sitting by me as I type (a big fat cat)...not really fat just big boned like me.

I'm a bit confused as I don't know if i'm replying in the right area. Anyway, welcome Texas. I'm here in NY on Long Island. I joined Jenny a few months ago and am having a tough time co-ordinating the meals, so needless to say, I'm up and down. Help anyone???!!!
