Do you have 80 to 100 (or more) pounds to lose? Join our weekly weigh-in support group in this section! It doesn't matter when you started or how much you have already lost. In fact, it would be nice to have some JC "success stories" join us. Come one...come all!

Important Note: This is a guilt-free zone. In order to the break the cycle of weight gain and loss we must remove one of the key ingredients. Guilt might be the hardest thing to remove, but that is our goal!!!

Following Copper's path and all that came before me, I trimmed the family tree to people we've heard from during the Summer. If you miss your name being there, please let me know so I can add you back! And if you're a new cybersibling looking to be adopted, let me know that, too. We have lots of love and support to share!

Our thread is inhabited by lots of skinny vibes; weight loss fairies; and a couple of dedicated exercise fairies. We support each other in good times and bad. We will laugh, cry, yell and whisper at you. We will call you out when we see you lying to yourself, we will praise you when you do well! We will help lift you over the hurdles and dance with you when you succeed. Fun & play is an important part of keeping us motivated on this journey we are travelling together.

Cybersisters’ Recipes

loves2smile’s "Fake Mashed Potatoes"
Califlower, fresh garlic, salt &
pepper, light sour cream, fat free milk
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Spray a shallow pan with Pam and peel 1 bulb of garlic. Cook for 60 minutes. In the meantime, steam califlower until fairly soft. Put califlower into a food processor with milk and sour cream, salt, & pepper (I eyeball everything) and blend until the consistency is smooth. When the galic is done, add to califlower mixture and pulse.
(Sometimes I even add some parm cheese to the hot mixture--makes them like cheesey garlic mashed potatoes)


mikesgirl’s Yogurt Pie
Take 2 8oz. cartons of your favorite flavored yogurt (nonfat, of course), and 1 carton of fat-free Cool Whip. Mix together and pour into a graham cracker crust. Freeze for several hours. Remove from freezer and let sit for about 1/2 hour before serving, to soften up a bit.
Now, I have already calculated the calories for 1/6 of the pie, without the graham cracker crust. If you use 90 ca. yogurts, it should come out to just 92.5 cals. per serving! So then I thought, rather than making it into a pie, why not simply make it a 'fluff' that you scoop into individual dishes and just sprinkle a little graham cracker crumbs (or maybe our toffee bites or chocolate chip cookies?) on top. Simply control the calories by how much of the crumbs you use.

Kore’s Oven Fried Chicken
Egg substitute
non-fat milk
bread crumbs
herbs & paprika (to taste)
skinless chicken breast (I prefer precut strips or cutlets)
1. Mix the egg and milk in a bowl until frothy
2. Mix bread crumbs, herbs and paprika 
3. Heat oven to 400 degrees, spray your cooking pan with nonfat cooking spray
4. Swirl the chicken in the egg/milk mixture, then roll to coat in the crumbs and place on cooking pan
5. Cook until done (depends on style of chicken cut as to how long it needs to be cut)

CHOCOLATE OR LEMON FRUIT CAKE
Slice up 3 strawberries or a small banana and saute in a small pan sprayed with Pam over medium heat until soft. Add a packet of Splenda and cook until gooey. slice your cake in half horizontally and put the fruit in the middle. Top with a dollup of sugar free Cool Whip. Delete one fruit serving and one fat serving from your day.

KUNG PAO BEEF-
Prepare Beef Chow Mein as directed. Stir fry 1 cup bean sprouts and 1 tsp reduced sodium soy sauce in nonstick pan coated with Pam for 1 minute. Stir in Beef Chow Mein, 10 peanuts, and a dash of red pepper flakes. Heat through. Delete one fat serving from your day.

LENTILS AL GRECO
Heat Lentils with Beef as directed. Mix in 2 tsps lemon juice, 1/8 tsp chopped garlic, and 1/4 tsp Greek seasoning mix. top with 1 Tbl crumbled reduced fat feta cheese.

PEPPERMINT CHOCOLATE CAKE
thaw Double Chocolate Cake and cut in half horizontally. Mix 1/8 tsp peppermint extract with 2 TBLS fat free Cool whip. Spread topping on bottom layer and reassemble cake. (Can add fruit if you count it as one of your alloted fruits)

CRAVING ICE CREAM--TRY THIS
Take 1/2 cup yogurt, 1/2 cup skim milk, a packet of sugar free hot chocolate, and put them in a blender with some ice. Blend it until it is smooth, then freeze it. You can also add a banana or other fruit to make it a milkshake. (The yogurt and milk count as 1 milk serving. The hot chocolate is a limited free food. If you add fruit, count it as 1 fruit serving.)

My niece is having issues in Houston and I am trying to help her as best I can...
My friend Cathi is back from her vacation, but her back is giving her problems...I might be able to do a few of her stops tomorrow...I needed to have tonight off from the double kittie colony duties...I so need to get my volunteers gathered to help out with all the house-less kitties living in the streets...and Cathi saw more "new faces" kittens...oh no...must get super busy and do more TNR this month...

Junmand - Congrats on your 2.2 loss!! I feel the same way. It it a financial sacrifice BUT I, too, am so glad I joined JC. I truly could not have done this without it!! biggrin.gif

Luckysgal - Awesome on the 2.2 loss this week - You will hit halfway this next WI. Just kick up the activity, increase the water and stay on program this week..... It WILL happen!! rolleyes.gif

2-one-of-a-kind - Your activity level continues to impress me...... I still have a hard time making myself do the 30 minutes.... I do think this summer will be helpful with running the kids around and stuff. My son's sweet kitty got ran over Monday morning. We live far from the road and she never went out there but for some reason she did that morning. I still have not had the heart to tell him - he loved her so much. sad.gif

I am super proud of all of you for sticking with program, losses and meeting activity goals!! Congrats all around!! rolleyes.gif laugh.gif tongue.gif biggrin.gif

So for my WI........ (drum roll) I lost the increase from last week PLUS another one pound so I am down a total of 47 pounds and 28 inches. My next goal is reaching the BIG 50...... It may take me 1 - 2 weeks but it WILL happen!! cool.gif

Miranda what a wonderful way to start June the spot is very beautiful
I weighed in today instead of tomorrow as I'm out of town and am down 1 pound! I'm very happy with that as I bought the Wii Active personal trainer. Wow it really works and I was very stiff for a couple of days.

Welcome Lauseb!! Hope to learn all about you and good luck with the losses.

Congrats to everyone who has lost this week, we should all be floating soon.

Gonna run as I'm getting up at 5 am for my trip to Calgary, I'm going to multitask and try to get my passport done before my meeting there. Have a gret week everyone!!! Skinny vibes all around.

I had missed my walk on Wednesday night, but yes, I walked tonight (Thursday) for 60-mins...Yeah!!!...I don't like to miss my walks I get grumpy...

LajoyT, ***WTG -1 lbs.gone.for.good!!!...***Look at you, -50 lbs. in such a short period of time!!!...How is hubby reacting with the new you?...Have you seen family or friends with your new and improved you?...This summer you are going to be the talk of the town, well at least with family...

I am so so sorry to hear about your kittie!!!...That is just so sad!!!...I don't know if I would tell your son about the car hitting the kittie...let him think she was adopted by another family...I don't know, what to say...this just happened the other week with one of my houseless kitties at the fourth colony...3-feet away from the curb the cat was struck by a car and I had pulled up to do the nightly feeding and the lady friend Leigh bagged him for me...this was so disturbing to me that the person who hit the kittie didn't stop to offer aid or at the least move the kittie off of the street...what are people thinking?...

Murlin, I know what you mean, I don't think I would have stayed on program as long as I have with out the support of this thread...I keep on track and have wonderful reminders of what this new lifestyle means...new ways of behaving with food and how to become friends with food...eat to live not live to eat...it is difficult with hubby wanting to go out to eat, too many calories out there in the restaurants...scary for me...I can't hold back when I am out to dinner...old habits are hard to give up...

junmand, I forgot that you mentioned that you were giving up alcohol for a kick start on the drops for your WIns...that is fantastic that you are getting the desired results...woo hoo...when I gave up wine in 1999, I had said "I rather eat my calories instead of drinking my calories"...I am happy for you!!!...The house is really turning out pretty nice!!!...The neighbors should be really pleased with the new facade..

I am dancing today! I was down 2.4lbs at my WI this morning!! That puts me at 38lbs total AND the best part is I have now SURPASSED my ORIGINAL Jenny Craig starting weight, three years ago. YAH ME!!!

My next goal is to get to halfway - 53lbs - only 15 to go. I can't believe that I can actually say I only need to lose 15lbs to get to halfway - FIFTEEN... that is nothing in comparison to what I have already done... pennies.

My son, Steven, and I went to get pictures done this morning, as a Fathers Day present for hubby. He has no idea and I think they turned out great. We get to pick them up tomorrow and then I will figure out which frames I want to buy and who will get the extras. I am so excited for his reaction!

Anyways.... have a great weekend!

"Good Early Evening my CyberSisters!"...

I finally got to walk last night for 60-mins and I got to do my stretch of 20-mins it felt so good!!!...
The garage door turned out great it's a cedar door and it is has a nice stain applied and the gutter guys showed up today and it looks great...they were supposed to be here on Saturday but, yes, they made up for that slip by doing a nice job on the gutters...

My niece is being stupid at 19 years young...she is pregnant and with a controlling man who has a violent streak...they have been together for only 5-months...so I spelled it out perfectly that I don't approve of this behavior in any way-shape-or-form...not acceptable on any level...I told her to get out asap...so who knows what she will do...I can't make her do anything and it is all in her hands...crossing my fingers that she takes my advice...she is in Houston about 4-hours away...

junmand, how did the wedding go?...Did you see relatives or friends?...Anyone notice how gorgeous you look!!!...

I went for my 60-min walk last night!!!...woo hoo...

I will be trying to get to a group work out class tonight before 645pm tonight...I need to add some resistance training to the new lifestyle journey...new schedule is in order, asap...

I think I lost my night friend that goes with me on the rounds to feed the kittie colonies...he has been hired by an apartment complex and won't be able to go with me past 10pm to feed kitties...I will have to go it alone...

Hi all, I lost 1 1/2 today, Went to the wedding, I did see family who has not seen me since X-Mas. They were all so happy for me biggrin.gif.. I felt so good, bought a new dress and shoes.. I did have a few drinks and extra food but I worked hard all week at the gym and lost!!! Getting closer to 199..woo hoo..

OMG ladies!!!! I DID IT!! I lost 2.2 lbs this week which took me pass the HALFWAY mark!!!
I can't believe it!!! My halfway was 60.1 lbs but I am now at a total of 60.8 lbs! I just can't believe it..and to think today marks exactly 6 months of me being on JC. I LOVE THIS PLAN!!!

I went to the group work out class last night and it kicked my b***, then walked on the treadmill for 25-mins and jumped into the hot tub and took a dip in the pool...my friend Richard went with me last night to feed the fur babies...then I took a 40-min city walk...My Monday turned out pretty good!!!...

I will be going to a yoga class tonight to work out the soreness...ouchies...the good ouchies...

Curlycue - Congrats on the 1 pound down. How do you like the Wii Personal Trainer? Is it something that you stick with?

2-one-of-a-kind - You are my exercise hero! You do so good - it is a constant motivation to me! Becareful out there doing the colony - since you will be alone you may get one of those pepper spray containers and a whistle. You will be fine - just watch your surroundings. Lucky kitties!!

Thank you all for your sweet notes regarding the kittie - I decided to not tell him what happened - the hard part is he is still watching for her to come back. I will most likely let him adopt another one soon. He loves cats more than ice cream!! biggrin.gif

I have great news on my WI today!! I lost 3.8 pounds (don't ask how??? I don't know - I have a funny little pattern going on) I have finally, finally, finally hit the BIG 50!! Yay me too!!

Great job on the loss! Keep it up! Thanks for the offer of help. I've actually been doing MOMO for about 4 months and DOMO for about 3 weeks. So far I'm doing pretty well at it but thanks so much!! I'll be sure to ask when I need more variety lol

LaJoyT, ***WTG -3.8 lbs.gone.for.good!!!...WOW...that is almost 4. lbs...simply fantastic!!!...Reaching the -50 lb. mark Woo Hoo...Celebrate!!!...

I can't believe how dedicated I was last night...I took my 60-min walk and stretched for 20-min...I had dropped off my gym bag at the house which had my socks, so I took a walk without my socks and I have blisters on top of my toe, the one next to the baby toe on my left foot...LaJoyT, I was very dedicated, wasn't I...not sure if I will walk tonight, because it is storming out big time!!!...We are having a test of the new garage and new roof...big time rain pouring down and the garage door is holding out the water so far...in the past I had to roll out the beach towels to absorb the all the water that would come in under the door...

If I do go out I will try and get to the gym and do the treadmill and the bike...we will see...I will have to leave in about 30-mins...tonight I might work in the garage if I don't get to go to the gym...maybe on Friday I can get some serious house work done...taking hubby to the airport at 6am on Friday and he will be back Saturday night...

My friend did go with me last night to feed the kitties...but tonight I am not sure if he will be going I will cross my fingers...thanks for the thumbs up on the pepper spray and the whistle...

Hi! Can I join your group? I started JC a few weeks ago. Friday will be my 4th weigh-in. I've lost 8.2 so far. My SW was 223.8 and I'd like to get to about 135. I know it will be a long road, so I'd love to be in a group for support and you all seem like you're doing great!

I have to drive down to Greenville and take payroll to the guys on my husbands crew today, then tomorrow I am hosting my sister in laws baby shower so I maybe off line for a couple of days.

I don't know what is wrong with me lately...I have been eating too much...what is eating at me?...I think I tie my emotions with eating when the stress gets to high self induced stress...I know that it is only hurting me and not helping me to get to my desired goal...I need to write out the due debt list and get the house in order and this gives me stress...

Hubby will be coming home later today at 645pm and I will try to get to bed soon and get up and start cleaning and sorting a few rooms before he comes home...maybe...

I walked on Thursday for 65mins and stretched for 20mins...
I walked on Friday for 67mins and stretched for 20mins...

It had stormed really, really bad on Wednesday night and boy did we have a light show all night long...it rained for over 15-hours...and hubby went with me to feed the kitties on Wednesday night and Richard went with me on Thursday and Friday night...we will see who goes with me on Saturday night...

The garage door broke yesterday at around 720pm I heard this thump and thought maybe someone hit the house with their car and I walked outside and didn't see anything so I thought maybe my neighbor had something hit our house and low and behold I went to open the garage door at 2am to bring in the trash can and that is when I discovered the spring had broken and pulled itself away from the wall and it had those 5-inch screws imbedded into to the dry wall it just snapped or sprung off the wall...thank-goodness hubby's car wasn't in the garage...crazy door...

Saturday is a new day and all will be better...I will have a healthier mind set for eating and I will work at getting my exercise in for the day...I need some help with the snack monster...I might be having my silent TOM...it is crazy...the urges I get for salty crunchy stuff like popcorn, then I want something sweet...I must be low in some vitamin or I need hormone replacement therapy...I am crossing my fingers that tomorrow will be a better day...

Good Morning!

Today was my WI day and I am so happy, once again, to say that I have lost another 2.6lbs for a new total of 40.6lbs. YAH, I have lost over 40lbs! I am so excited!!

Well, I am off to a BBQ today so I hope everyone has a great Saturday!

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. It's so encouraging to hear about all of your weight losses. I had my 4th week consultation on Friday. I've lost 9.8 lbs and 10 inches. I can already tell that my mindset is changing even it such a short time. I have hope that I can do it! I even just finished working out-haven't had a desire to work out in a long time. Thanks for letting me be part of your group and I hope I can encourage you guys as well!

Hi ya'll! My weigh-in is usually Tuesday but has been changed to Wednesday - I will post my stats tomorrow. I don't know what is going to happen though..... I have had a strange craving for peanut butter for the last 3 days...... I have put it on celery BUT..... I still have been eating it!

2-one-of-a-kind - Don't feel alone on the eating - see my confession above? I too have amped up the activity though. I am still doing 30 min on the bike but my intensity has increased. wink.gif

Murlin - Congrats on the 2.6 pounds lost!! Never to return!! The 40 is such a great milestone!! rolleyes.gif

reclaimingme - Way to go on the 9.8 loss and the 10 inches! You are probably beginning to see a difference in your clothes....... I love to put on my old clothes and watch them fall off biggrin.gif
