I am on day 3 of JC, so far so good!!This is my second time with JC, I was a quitter then , but not this time!!!

That's the attitude! I won't quit either. Someone made a snide comment today that JC is too expensive, especially considering that they only promise a 1-2lb weight loss per week. I looked them in the eye & told them that after wasting the past 22 years of my life being fat a loss of 1-2lbs per week WITHOUT SUFFERING sounded like a bargain, whatever the financial cost. Keep your chin up, stay strong, look for motivation even in the littlest of things. We will make it thru this and even have some fun getting there!

I hate when people make comments like that. I guess that's why I'm keeping it a secret at work. I will address the issue when they ask, me if, I'm losing weight. smile.gif OH and I loved your answer to them BTW...

I totally hear you on the mirror thing! I have lost close to 30lbs and STILL have those moments... can't even imagine how I looked 30lbs ago! Thank goodness I am moving in the right direction!!

As for the co-workers - J-E-A-L-O-U-S!! I told basically every one I know, and some that I don't, that I am on Jenny Craig. Take it or leave it - I don't care! This is for me and yeah, it's expensive, but it works!

Here's to not quitting EVER AGAIN!!

I didn't really want anyone to know until I absolutely had to tell them, however, my father-in-law kept asking my hubby what those styrofoam crates were that he was putting in our dumpster at work. My husband wouldn't tell him and then I think he realized by something that they said JC on them and said, "oh, you're the one on JC?" I said why are you asking? He said, he noticed my hubby bringing the cartons in. So I said, yes, and I've already lost 16lbs.in 4 weeks......here comes the SUPPORT....READY....."oh, you know that actress Kirstie Alley was on that, lost it all gained it back and then some" and he walked away! Wasn't that nice of him to say!!!! OMG and I said to my hubby, NOW you know why I didn't want YOUR PARENTS to know! OMG, what is wrong with these people! I do not NEED or WANT anyone saying, r u supposed to be eating that, is that all right for u to eat!!!! Ugh! I'm muddling thru it though! At least I don't have to hide my food anymore....lololol

OH MY!!!! That's too bad... Of course, we all know that if you don't learn/follow the plan you will gain it. Of course, she so admitted that it was all her fault. I just saw that she gained all her weight back, plus some. (I guess she's on People magazine) I lost 45 lbs about 19 years ago.. Had hit my goal weight of 145 and both my mother and husband said that I was losing too much weight. NOW here I am 20 years later.... trying to lose the original 45 lbs, plus more! angry.gif I told both of them, that they can't say anything to me this time around!! rolleyes.gif Anyway... hate when people aren't supportive!! Good luck. Lisa

I totally agree. I get the "should you eat that?" "Are you sure you went to the gym today? I didn't see you" My sister lives with me and this is what I get on a DAILY basis. But it is her way of being supportive. Then in the same breath, she'll turn around and bake a cake, or order pizza. Focus on you. This is something you want to do, its your time to take care of yourself and make yourself feel good. Don't listen.

That would be hard to get "that kind" of support on a daily basis. My mom joined me on JC and my step-dad in the begining would ask my mom if she wanted something from where ever he was going; IE; hot dog, hamburger, junk..etc.. She told him that he needed to quit that!!! You are doing great if you can get thru that!! I think I would struggle. Lisa
