If you like to cook and are missing preparing anything but free vegetables here's some info for you.
I've been on the Jenny shelf stable since Jan 1 and get really tired of the limited selection. It all starts to taste the same after the first few weeks and the cost is ridiculous! Plus my husband doesn't need to lose weight so I'm still cooking his meals or he ends up cooking his own. It just feels wrong eating a boxed meal while he eats something that usually smells and looks way better. I love to cook so have been searching for recipe books with serving sizes and nutritional information listed. Have found several cookbooks that are great. I think you can also find these recipes on the foodnetwork. Try "Loonyspoons", "Crazy Plates" & "Eat Shrink & Be Merry" by Janet & Greta Podleski. I still mainly use the Jenny meals but have been successfully substituting my own and still managing to lose the weight. Just make sure that whatever you choose to substitute has about the same calories and nutritional value as the Jenny food.
