Is it OK to do the treadmill everyday?

Surely is...its walking or running, which is fine every day of course
If you get bored, vary hill (incline), add intervals (going as fast as you can), listen to music....if you have other options, great, but walking/running is a great workout...Eventually, you may want to add other things, but treadmill is great.

There is no reason why you couldn't do that every day if you want to. However, your body will get used to it if you are doing the same things every day, and wont burn as many calories after a while. Plus, you might get bored. If you want to build up your metabolism, you might consider adding some weight training eventually.
I keep things fresh by doing different things on different days. I have a Zumba aerobics class once a week which is really fun, and I take a class 2X per week that does 1/3 cardio, 1/3 weight training or pilates, and 1/3 stretching or yoga, and the instructor is always mixing things up a bunch. I also do some activity classes with my toddler several days a week (like baby & me swim, and Tots in Tow). Some days I walk. Some days I use my exersize bike. Some days I pop a DVD in and do some pilates, weight training, Tai Chi, or cardio dance. I think there is little chance of me getting bored of exersize!
Take care,
Angela
