i have the WORST acid, i normally take zantac twice a day, but even that didn't help me. i was in a lot of pain last night. i did have a diet soda. i'm hoping that's what it was... no more of those! any thoughts?
thank you
love the food but i'm thinking that because its not fresh it might be too much for me... any thoughs?
But, you are eating your fresh foods, right? A big salad every day, two or three fresh fruit servings per day (depending on your calorie level), lots of fresh veggies for dinner?
Could it be the dairy? I know my husband has developed lactose intolerance over the past few years - was never a problem in the past. Have you always included dairy in your diet, or is it "new" since being on JC?
I kinda doubt it's the packaged JC food. The JC food is pretty refine and processed, no artificial sweeteners (like in your diet soda).
Most new JCers experience some digestive discomfort for the first few days (or even few weeks). Suddenly, we're eating a lot more fiber than we're used to! Give your body time to adjust. Make sure you drink, at a minimum, 8-8oz. glasses of water every day, try taking a Lactaid before your milk, if you're drinking milk for the first time in a while (yogurt and cheese doesn't bother hubby.... just milk). Stick with it! Your body will figure it out.
