I bought a pedometer this weekend and am trying to get in as many steps as possible each day. I work in a church (42,000 sq feet) and will walk around the perimeter each hour. In order to aid in losing weight - do all my steps have to come in big chunks or can it be in little spurts - say 500 at a time?

You want to be shooting for 10,000 or more steps a day total. Good Luck!!
