I was having one of those nights after a stressful day at work where I just wanted a lot to eat. I'm sure some of you can relate. I wanted a big steak so I chose the JC Salisbury Steak but this is how I volumized it:
JC Salisbury Steak Entree(cook as usual)
2 cans of mushroom(rinse with water to reduce the sodium and then sautee using Mrs Dash Italian Medley seasoning)
Sautee mushrooms until they cook down a little
Add the gravy, steak, and potatoes into the large pan full of mushrooms
Add the carrots and peas on top
Add 1oz of lf tomato basil feta cheese(I counted as 2 of my limited free for the day)
It made a BIG GIANT plate and it was SO GOOD. I mean VERY good. So much that some of it is still on the plate right now. So I went from wanting to eat and eat tonight to not being able to finish my plate. THAT is success. So just wanted to share. We CAN do this....even on the days when it seems hard there is a way!
