I wish that there was a way to order your food online, it would be easier to chose exactly what you want, and the prices would be right there so you can adjust for your budget. NS lets you order online, it so much more convenient.

Is it ordering ahead of time that you're after, or knowing your selections/prices? You always have the option of faxing in an order form from your centre before your consultation. Then, you'd have the prices and they can get it ready for you before you arrive.

I am a Jenny Direct client, I live an hour away from the nearest center. I think that online ordering would be convenient for Direct clients.

Ah, gotcha. Sorry, probably should have asked. tongue.gif

Ordering online will likely never be an option. Why? Because Jenny Craig is a comprehensive program addressing food, body, and mind. It is not just about eating the food. It is about addressing all the issues that lead to us having a weight problem. The one-on-one consultations are a cornerstone to the program. If Jenny Direct clients could order online there would be a huge number of clients who would not bother with the consultations. Since the consultations are proven to be an important component to a client's success, it would decrease the effectiveness of the program in the long term. Not only that, when you give your food order to your consultant, he/she is aware of how closely (or not) you are following the plan and thus is better able to help you.
I agree that it would be a very convenient option to order food online but because of the importance of the consultations, I doubt it will happen. However, if you put together your order online using the menu planner, you can print out a list and it is just a simple 5 minute process to read the order to your consultant.

I respectfully disagree with you. Though I do agree with everything you said with consultations being important - I think ordering online would make things a lot easier. To my knowledge (which is limited) they are working on a system (SONIC) which would offer clients the ability to order online (eventually) a long with a complete paperless system (no more - Hmm now where is your file moments). Just because someone places thier order online doesnt mean that they still couldnt come in and have consultations/phone consultations.

Sonic is replacing Sieble soon but it is not a system that allows people to order online, we are already using it here in San Diego. Everything is already paperless as well, at least with Jenny Direct, I have no idea how it may be different with the centers. We have discussed this a lot in staff meetings and as far as I have been told, ordering online is not an option that is on the horizon. I mean, I am not the authority on this or anything but this is what has been communicated in the meetings that I have been in.
But yes, ordering online would make things very easy, no disagreement there.
