I got this BOSU ball for Christmas, and I just inflated it today and did the 30 minute workout DVD that it came with. This workout really kicked my butt!! It was so hard to keep my balance, but I really felt the muscles working in all the places they said they were suppose to! The program really works your core, and my heart rate was definitely up. Has anyone used the BOSU and seen positive results, or found some good exercises or stretches to do on it??

Thanks so much for posting this... I've been eyeing that BOSU for some time. I have SO many gadgets and exercise "toys" that I'm hesitant to purchase yet another. However, I can't do any floor work for abs -- no crunches or traditional abs work -- and thought maybe that BOSU would be a good idea.
If you're feeling it in the core muscles, that's a great indicator that it works. Birthday's coming up, so it may be on my short list!
As far as workouts to do on it: They had one at the gym I used to go to, and folks would stand on it while doing almost any normal workout stuff... weight lifting with dumbbells, squats, lunges, and so on. I just googled and checked out some sites, and some YouTube videos. Definitely something I'll be getting!

The bosu is great for so many things. You can sit or stand and do arm exercises which then engage the inner core muscles. Put a bender ball in between your knees and work the inner thigh muscls as you sit on the bosu. It is great for working on balance. Have fun with it.
