I got the Wii fit for Christmas and have been doing the body tests, but I only do about 15 minutes of hula hoop or running because I am annoyed the I have to stop after 1 minute and start over. Anyone have suggestions on thier workout plan? By the way, has anyone ever caught the flying hula hoop? It just always bonks me in the head, it doesn't seem to notice my leaning. Whoever thought up the Mii's really had a funny sense of humor, my Mii got Pudgy after it weighed me! He he!

After a lot of begging, my husband got it for me as well! Is your wii board on a carpet? That could affect how it registers you leaning. If its on a carpet, just add the foot extenders. The time annoys me too, but I use the strength and aerobics a lot more. They're longer and I feel like they're doing more than the hula hoop.
I was really sad at seeing my mii shrink in height and grow in width... but it'll be exciting to watch it shrink!

I also got a wii fit for Christmas. It took a while to get the hang of catching those hoops. Just lean and they will get ya. I enjoy mine. I wish it had more of the aerobic type one. I'm thinking of getting fitness coach next. Good luck to you.

Oh man, you guys! I was so excited to see this Blog? Forum? whatever! I really want to get one. I know I'm not helping you with any suggestions, but i need help. I only found out about them around Christmas.
I don't know what to buy, where to buy, or what to look for. I travel a lot with my job. I work all over the country and I stay in my trailer. With my hours a gymn and walking are out of the question for regular excersize because it is always dark. I have a good size livingroom in the trailer. How much room do you need? How does it work?
I'm wanting to get one next week or when I get paid the first week in Feb, but I need a little guidence. Will you guys help?

I got mine at target, the Wii was around $250-$300 and the game was about $90. It comes with the board and a disk. I also had to get the nunchuck for the boxing, but I think that was pretty inexpensive $15 or so. They are available everywhere, just look to see if they are in stock. Targets website will tell you the store closest to you that has them in stock and if there are plenty or only a few. Hope that helps!

Just started JC last week and this is my first post! I have the WII Fit and just love it. I agree with the OP that it is frustrating to have to stop between events and wait (thinking my heart rate is slowing down to a crawl). So I bought the Jillian Micheals Boot Camp game. Don't waste your money on that - it is so bad! It's boring and doesn't work half the time. Based on suggestions by other people dissappointed in that game, I got the 'My Fitness Coach' game. It is GREAT!
'My Fitness Coach' doesn't use the Wii Fit board, just the Wii and you really get a workout. It's like having your own personal trainer in your living room. Your workout is created just for you and adjusts as you go based on your input on how you are feeling. It has good music in the background and different environements to work out in. You can focus on different areas each day. I highly recommend this game for anyone trying to get some exercise!
Even though the music on it is good, they aren't my favorite songs. So I have a workout playlist on the iPod that I blast through the stereo. Changing up the playlist every few days helps as well. This is the only workout I have ever looked forward to!

My Wii cam today!!! I am really looking forward to it! I bought it online as a bundle with alot of extras including Wii Fit. I almost bought the Jillian Micheals Boot Camp game but decided to wait to see how the Wii works. I also decided to wait to buy the 'My Fitness Coach' game and the Dance Dance Revolution 2. I have never bought a game anything so I wanted to wait. Does anyone like the Dance one?

TC:
Don't waste your time or money on that JM Boot Camp game. The one I had never worked correctly, then I read reviews online and they all agreed that it was terrible. Hopefully, a new version (that works) will come out soon.
Just a friendly warning!
