Today was my second weigh in, and I was really discouraged because I had only lost .2 pounds. I followed the diet exactly, didn't cheat once,I drank ALL 64oz of water each day, and I did cardio with my trainer 4x last week for an hour each session. Last week I was down 4.8 pounds and i was so excited, but this week it just feels like i did all this hard work for nothing.

This was WI #3 for me and I finally lost BIG, 3.8 lbs., for a total of six lbs. in three weeks. I had some pizza on Sun. evening that was not planned. I had to buy some new pants for work today, 'cause I was having to pull mine up all the time!!
Kayce
I'm glad to see a Tuesday weigh in!!! smile.gif
Hshelley... don't worry about not having a big loss this week... you lost a lot the first week, and it takes a bit for your body to make up after that. Just keep on exercising and eating on the plan, and you'll be amazed at how well the "little losses, one week at a time" add up!
I've been on the plan since October, and have lost just over 26 pounds. The best news is that I've lost 16 inches!!!! People are now noticing, and I can fit into clothes that I haven't worn in years (literally!). smile.gif I was really happy to wear my favorite winter coat that I've ever owned last weekend. (Just in time too, it's really warm, and our highs lately have been in the single digits, or the teens!)
I missed last Tuesday because of a snowstorm... but was down 2.7 pounds last night... yipee!!! So, slow and steady wins the race, right? I'm figuring if it takes me a year to lose the 70 pounds I need to, then that's fine... I feel better, have more energy, by blood glucose levels are almost where they need to be, and life is good!!! So, keep on trying, and realize that every week won't be a big loss, but all of the little losses add up! smile.gif Kaye

Hi there I have been on the program since May of 08. I weigh on Tuesdays as well. If you look at my signature you will see that the hard work does payoff.

HShelly..I agree with Kayce, don't get discouraged. She is right if you have a big loss sometimes your body says, 'hold up I'm not ready for that" so just stick with it and it WILL come off. Some weeks are better than others but like Kayce said they add up.

Well good luck to you all, especailly those who are just starting. It takes time but it is SO worth it!! Keep coming back to check in. I love to hear how everyone does.

Hey Everyone! I hope y'all had a great week. I had a slow week again.. only a loss of .2 for the second week i a row. O well... i know it happens and I just have to stick with it. I can't wait to read how everyone else is doing!!

Oh and just on a side note... I was just wondering what y'all think of your consultants?? The lady I have is really awkward, and I just feel like our conversation is so scripted!

Well HShell you are still going so thats great! I love my consultant. She is the best. She hugs me bye every week! She is so down to earth and more of a friend than a consultant to me.

Hi all,
No weight loss last Tuesday, but I had cheated every day the week before, so I take responsibility for that. BUT I went for a WI today because we're supposed to get yet another storm this Tuesday, and I was down 5.2 pounds!!! On Wednesday I had recommited to the program, and decided to take things one day at a time, and set a goal for myself every day. So... hopefully if I keep up this attitude, I will be down more a week from Tuesday. If not, I'll know it's a catch up week (as long as I don't have lots of cheats).
As for my JCC... I'm really fond of her. She does a great job! If you're not comfortable with your consultant, find another one at the center that you click with. It's really important!
Have a great week everyone! Kaye

What an awesome accomplishment kaye! I bet you were so excited smile.gif If I were you I would write down my daily goals in your phone or on a paper that you carry with you all day so you have a constant reminder.. and dont forget to give yourself little rewards for meeting your goals ( going to a movie or out dancing, getting a manicure or whatever you enjoy doing.)
Today i had my WI and i was down 4.6 pounds!! This was the WI I have been waiting for. I even did a little dance i was so happy. I was so motivated that i got out this moving box that I had put all my "skinny clothes" in and pulled out my favorite jeans and hung them up in my closet just as a little reminder that I can do it. I am finally starting to feel like my goal is reachable.

Oh and i don't think I mentioned I am doing Jenny Direct... so I dont get to meet my consultant. Its all over the phone.. and I think that might be the problem. But I've been on so many diets i basically know all of the "right" things to do in situations and social events its just a matter of me actually doing it.

i look forward to hearing from everyone!!!
