Good Morning Ladies!
Hope everyone is off to a fine start this Saturday morning.
I've been to JC, bank and now I'm home. I have great news, I weighed at home 184.4 (up .2 since 5/12) on JC's scale I was 185.2 which was the same as the last time she has my weight logged. I'm ecstatic with that - after all the challenges I've had and TOM here, I'm thrilled. I was deathly afraid of 187+, even closer to 190. That is great motivation to go through this weekend.
I have also made a committment that I am going back to Saturday weigh in's if at all possible. I love the convenience of Thursday after work, since I'm out by the expressway and I'm cutting about 10 minutes off my time, but I feel rushed - not by them, by my busy schedule. I feel, I have to get food, get home, eat, etc. Saturday a.m.'s I'm refreshed and it's just me and JC. I have appts the next 3 Saturday's set up. She asked what my weight loss goal was this week and I said to be down .6 next Saturday. I would love more but down is down and I will take slow & steady & smile

I feel very optimistic because a few months ago, I was hovering at 187-190ish. Now, I'm hovering 184-185, that will go down and I am going to be in the 170's by Florida.
Once I hit 179, I'm buying the JC reformer (think that's what it's called). It's a great core work out.
DH & I did our 4 mile walk last night. I started out sore, but my legs and hiney loosened up (& tightened back up once we got home).
Miranda, so glad your DF (darling furbaby) is doing better. You are such a good doggy mommy. Your love shines through in your posts. I know it's going to be a pain in upcoming weeks, but at least the actual pain should be lessening for him. Now, dust yourself off and do your thing! I know you can!
Terri, OMGosh, your post made me so sad. I had a cockatoo when I was growing up and I LOVED my bird. Loved him. He was beautiful. I had a friend watch him, they put him out on their deck, it rained and was damp and he got sick and died. I felt so responsible, I should have kept him home (I was 18 and was going somewhere). I don't even know what to say and I'm sure the visual of what you went through is haunting you. Try to let it go, we're all human and we all err, you don't even know for sure what caused him to die. Please don't be so tough on yourself.
As for your arm/chest pain, again it's signs of something, please watch it and get checked out.
I'm anxious to hear what you've read. Between you & Miranda, I'm thinking I might need to get this read for Florida. Which book exactly is it again?
Deanna, I know you've been really busy too. I hope to see you post on how you're doing.
Send some California sun my way, OK? It's so gloomy outside.
I'm off to pay bills, work out, grocery store and other odds and ends before meeting friends tonight.
I have a plan and tonight is going for portion control and limit chips and salsa. I'm going to try to get a 5 mile work out in to help compensate. I'm doing the killer video so we'll see what I can withstand after that. And of course, some hula hooping in there too
Terri, please know that I am thinking of your Son and what he's doing for our country. My thoughts are with him and others with family & friends that are defending our country for the freedom we have.
Val, welcome back, so great to see you. Good luck with the wedding. My goodness, you've been a busy, busy gal!! Keep us posted and I'd love to see pictures.
Kelly, so glad you were able to get a run in. It's incredible what a work out does to our mood! Hope you stick around, it's nice having a new face to get to know.
Have a great, safe, holiday weekend Friends!!

Deanna, I was just cleaning up e-mail and had one from Leslie regarding the new kits. There is a new one lose ten pounds or something for $19.99 at Target, plus a $2 coupon (for some reason can't get these kits on her site, same with the punch up your walk). Any ways, it includes her pedometer and a video - the same pedometer I ordered for $12.95 plus S&H - I could have gotten it at the store, with a video for just a few dollars more. URGH!! I hate when I miss a good deal.
I'll have the punch work out on Monday because my friend is going this weekend and bringing it to work on Monday. Shoot, shoot, shoot - I wish I would have seen that sooner.
Oh well, it will still be fun!!
OK, really, I'm going to pay bills now and then work out!

Hey all did you think i was gone for good!!! Not a chance. These last two weeks have been disatorious. Havin D***H her 24/7 has totally screwed up my schedule and pattern. I have eaten anything and everthing. Name something bad and it has passed through my lips. Didn't even go to JC the first week. Beginning of 2nd wk WI was only a 3 ounce gain but by monday who knows. I so need to get my S*** together. DH finally left last nite for Eastern Oregon to visit a friend of his. So here I was alone last night and a friend that I havent seen since Feb got ahold of me. What were the odds. So met him about a half hr from the house and caught up. Looked at me and said, "Wow, you've lost weight since I saw you last." Made my evening. Then on Thurs ended up at BBQ and party but she is Hawaiian and only ate healthy if you dont count the drinks before going there and the beers while there. On Tues my friend Kerry showed up for a couple days so that meant some meals out too. Tonite I have nothing planned but I am such a "spur of the moment" person so who knows. One of my gf is in the middle of 10 days off so probably will end up doing something.
Tammy - you sound so strong like nothing is gonna stop you.
Miranda - how is furbasby today?
Val - look like you have got all in place for your big day
Terri - oh my girl you must be devasted about your bird.
Deanna - how is it going
Kelly - welcome to you. great support here
Hi to all the rest of you. You are all in my thoughts.
LOL JC just called to remind me of my appt Mon morn. We will see what happens then. They really need them to give me a pep talk and get me back on board here.
Well a beautiful weekend (and rest of the week) is ahead here so need to hang the sheets on the line and rake the stupid yard again.
Have a great holiday weekend all.

Debbie, GREAT to see you back. Sorry DH was such a pain in the you know what. But, he's gone. Dust off and move forward. You can do it, this may be only a little set back in your journey.
You're as busy as we are. I wish I had Hiro's power (from Hero's) to be able to stop time, get all my stuff done and then start time back up. Wouldn't that be something?
I got sidetracked, I know, Imagine that . . . . I uploaded pictures from when we met my new nephew Matteo and next is the album for VA. I'm trying hard to stay on top of pictures. Even if I'm not ordering them timely, getting them in an album is 3/4 the battle. I had over 600 pictures at BYCTW day - no mas. I'm going to stay current. Mid year New Year's resolution . . .
Pictures are uploading, guess I can go fold the load that just beeped at me.
Good Day (enough coffee for me, can ya tell?)

Hey Val and Debbie... it's great to have you posting with us again.
Well ladies, I had a long, drawn out post that I typed last night and waa-laa it disappeared. I didn't realize it didn't post until this morning.
Tammy, I did Leslie's Fast Firming dvd with the "firm band" last night. The dvd was opened but I don't remember doing it before

DD said she had done it before so maybe that's why. It is a good one and I could really feel it. I think you will love it! I will now incorporate it into my rotation- thanks for bringing it to my attention

I also did her 2 mile w/ intervals dvd last night. It's a pretty good one too as it gets your heart rate up. I also posted to you last night that my pedometer is made by Omron. It tracks: steps, minutes, aerobic steps (and minutes) distance, calories burned and fat calories burned. Like the Polar Watch you have to program your personal info into it (and remember to update as you lose weight). Bummer about finding the Leslie email too late! I am anxious to read how you like the "punching" dvd once you try it. I'm thinking that may be my next purchase- I am also considering the one w/ Brittany.
Miranda, I'm so glad your pupster is home. Sounds like it will be long recovery for him- it also sounds like you have a plan and the "pen" will be very useful. He's lucky to have you as "mom"

I'm sure you will be back on the healthy eating track now that he has made it through the emotional time.
Terri, I'm so sorry about your bird. I understand the guilt you felt as well. Our pets really are part of the family.
Debbie, so glad to see you back with us. Glad also that "D"H has moved on. Like I said before you are a bigger woman than I. I think I finally moved on from the anger I had regarding my ex- now at least I can tolerate being in the same room as him

. I'll get to practice that tomorrow as DD has invited him down for dinner. The student she works with is in Foods class at school. She gets to try all the recipes and bring copies of them home. So we will be her "guinea pigs" tomorrow when she makes a low fat version of Pad Thai.
Val, you have been one busy woman. I was happy to see your post as I thought we "lost you". It sounds like the wedding plans are coming along quite nicely. Keep us posted

SO, I weighed in here at home at my JC WI time with my JC WI clothes on (pathetic- aren't I?) this morning. I weighed 170.6- still hovering at 170. "something"- I'm good with that given my crazy week. I have THREE events on Friday. UGH! We have "Hoop Shoot" Friday morning w/ yet another BBQ (hotdogs, chips, ice cream)- I'm not worried about that one as I can take my own lunch. It's a mini basketball tournament for our kids and is fun. Then we have our Best Buddies plus families year end BBQ at a park from 4-6- its a pot luck and I can probably get away just eating my fruit salad and then from 5:30-8 is the Special Ed department year end party (homemade mexican food & margaritas, etc.) That will be the HARD one! I haven't R.S.V.P'd for that one yet

It's "THAT" time of year... if I can maintain I will be happy

My plan for the long weekend: more yard work, build the vegetable "cage" to keep squirrels and raccoons out, lots of exercise and ah yes the garage..... Hopefully, I will see my friend that is in town from WA as well.
Well I better get moving its already 12:10 and I haven't had breakfast or worked out yet. DD and I are going shopping later at an asian market to get her ingredients for Pad Thai. We will also pick up stuff for some indian food (tandoori chicken and vegetable biryani) we will try that next weekend.
Hugs to all,
Deanna

Deanna and
Tammy great news that you both had good weigh ins. That's always what gets us pumped again and ready to start the whole new week ahead, isn't it
Tammy, the Biggest Loser book I have is called the BL 30-Day Jump Start - it has an Orange Band across a white background? ... it has a menu for each one of 30days plus good ideas for daily workouts starting right from Beginner and working up a little each day for the whole month.
I think it will help me quite a lot as these are all menus/recipes that Hubby can use as well.
I had my Phone Consultation and Lexi told me she 'is there for me' and wants me to still come in and weigh in and have a Consult and as for food? to 'do what I can' and go over menus with me etc....... I am thrilled she will do that.
I'm afraid if I don't have accountablility of Weigh in? I will just say ' Oh what the **** ' and then forget portion control and you know what happens after that.
I got my veggies all planted this afternoon. Gorgeous day today!!

20C /mid-70's F degrees....... no wind. Lovely!...... like having a new baby all over again. Set up the ' Play pen' for Kody and plonked him in there where he could see me LOL... in the Shade of the pine tree LOL......and he rested and watched me 'plant'.......
seriously brings back memories of having a Babe in arms all over again. Pick up and carry here...... pick up and lug there......... LOL
I'm such a Soft Touch. But gosh he is sooooooo good...... no yapping, no barking, no nothing..... just sits there with those huge brown eyes looking at me and 'waiting' for the next move to make " with permission" . Even before this 'incident' he has always been my ' Little Shadow' and follows me everywhere, not even a teeny bit of independence in him really..... so that's a good thing.
the other 2 dogs haven't really figured out How Come HE gets all the Special Treatment yet LOL but Oh well. I can only do so much.

P.s Is it possible to over dose on sugar free jello??? LOL I had two yestereday and almost had another...I was having one of those hungry days....

Hi,
I made it through the graduation party tonight. I stuck to a lot of salads and tomorrow is the cook out. My SIL and I are both watching what we eat.. She is on WW and doing pretty good at it. I tried it before, but got tired of always counting the points. So I think we are safe to have chicken breasts on the grill.
Have a good night,

Good evening all,
Miranda, your post made me smile. You are such a good pet owner/mommy. It's okay to be a soft touch- we understand-lol!
Kelly, great job with the run. I bet it felt fantastic to finally get outside after the rain/floods. Running along the beach sounds wonderful (if I only ran...) I love sf jello too! You will have beautiful, long, strong fingernails from it!
Val, good job at the graduation party. Yep, grilled chicken breasts are the way to go tomorrow.
Tammy, I hope your Saturday was good to you and you are out having fun with your friends right now.
Terri, I hope you had a good day as well. What's cookin'? Your tilapia dinner the other night sounded delicious.
So, DD and I went to several asian markets today. We bought stuff to make Pad Thai, Vietnamese Shrimp Summer rolls, sushi, tandoori chicken and vegetable biryani (didn't get the fresh chicken breasts or shrimp yet though). Don't know when we will make/cook everything... all I know is she's making Pad Thai tomorrow.
Even after wandering the most ethnically diverse restaurant street in Mountain View she decided she wanted to go to The Cheesecake Factory "for her salad". LOL! I thought about getting the grilled chicken club sandwich... but after reading the menu (grilled chicken, avocado, swiss cheese, bacon, herb mayonnaise) and french fries I decided against it

One of the diet journal sites listed the calories at over 1000! Instead I had the lunch size Cobb Salad (similar stuff but no mayonnaise, or cheese) but it did have grated hard-boiled egg. I had dressing on the side and just a little bread and butter. I only ate half the salad and will have the rest for dinner (except it's already 7:30 and I'm not hungry!)
Uneventful day for me... I vacuumed, mopped the kitchen floor, cleaned my bathroom, did some laundry and moved a bookcase. Still haven't exercised BUT I'm going to do my 5 miles w/ Leslie RIGHT NOW!! I need to work off that big lunch.
I'll check in tomorrow (or maybe later tonight-lol!) Lots to do tomorrow since I was a slug today

Hugs,
Deanna

Going to a cookout today...all close friends and family, so it will be easy to stick with the program...bringing my own food....have others bringing fruit and vegetables along with the normal cookout foods....hopefully the sun will come out and we can go for a swim...more calories burned while having fun in the Sun....
Enjoy your Day Everyone!!

Hi everyone,
Welcome Dolly, I'm glad Miranda steered you in our direction

This is a great group of ladies. Very supportive with all things: JC, emotional eating, the scale, family "stuff", etc.
How is everyone's weekend? After a slow start yesterday, I am doing very well today. Happy to report the scale was only up .2 After my cobb salad fiesta yesterday- I'm sure my late evening workout helped. But I know that lot's of exercise is what I will have to do if I want to "indulge". At least I have finally accepted working out as part of my everyday life -that of course was always my missing ingredient when getting to goal before. Hence, return to the same lifestyle and gain back the same weight (plus more). That's NOT gonna happen this time! I know what I need to do!
I got up and did a new (for me) Leslie dvd. It was her "5K walk w/ a Twist"- not sure what the twist was -lol! But it is a fast paced 45 minute/3.1 miles reaching 5 mph speeds!! It has a 4 minute warm up, 12 minute mile, 11 minute minute mile, a 12 minute 1.1 mile, then a 4 minute cool down and stretch. It is quite lively and has lots of "boosted" minutes.
I'm currently taking a "lunch break" from my backyard. I am fighting with the garden box cage and its winning

Need some help but DD is hiking with her dad today. I'll keep trying though- perhaps tomorrow she will help if I have not succeeded
I have no plans for tomorrow- no BBQ or anything and that is fine with me.
Okay, I best eat my pizza and salad and get back to work.
I hope everyone is having a nice weekend,
Hugs,
Deanna

Did I do it right ? How do you get the extra information below the ticker ! I'm a fast & curious learner so any "perc's " you can give me are well appreciated !
Dolly
I think you did yes......... not sure how come you have that Pink area around your ticker tho but Oh well LOL.......... did you copy the BB Code on the Ticker.com page?
if you want to add weigh in numbers or quotes etc? go to the 'edit Signature' area of 'My Controls' and just type things in where you also do the copy/paste for your ticker. HTH

It looks like the Sunshine is back in Florida!!! We can call it the Sunshine State again....this past week we got about 30 inches of rain here in Palm Coast!! That is way more than when we had all of the Hurricanes several years ago...it is good to know that our neighborhood can handle this much rain without flooding...now I know for sure that I don't need flood insurance!!LOL
Trying to decide on an exercise today...think I might go swimming...we were going to go to the beach...just don't feel like packing up the house to take two little ones to the beach and then cleaning up all the mess afterwards...that is a workout in itself.....
We had a cook out yesterday..did pretty good...took the chicken sandwich..first time I had it...not a fan...really didn't care for it much...had fruit and sipped on a diet soda...since I only ate half of the sandwich I had two develed eggs, a table spoon of baked beans, two tablespoons of potatoe salad..had to get a taste.....gave up my JC cake hoping that this would help with the calorie intake.....
Hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day....

Kelly I always 'doctor' the Chicken sandwich as well as the turkey burger when I have more time. I make a Stirfry from the chicken sandwich. Saute a pan full of sliced up onions, mushrooms, peppers, some garlic, ...... nuke the chicken for about 40 seconds? then slice it and add that to the pan. For the bun? I toast it and give it a spritz of 'I can't believe it's not butter' Spray, and a sprinkle of garlic seasoning/powder/salt or whatever you prefer. Makes a tasty meal that way, and I do the same with the Turkey burger.
I'm sorry you had a lot of rain during this past week

My DD and her family were in Florida - went to Disney World.... but i haven't spoken to them yet since they got home on the weekend to see what sort of weather they had? that would be a shame if they had rain every day.
not sure what area you live in of course, would it be close to there?

Hey ladies,
how is everyone? I hope you all had a nice weekend and those of us with a 3 day weekend I hope it was fun!
I kept busy and seem to have this maintenance thing "in the bag". I am definitely practicing portion control (and counting calories), getting in all the food groups/exchanges, etc. I'm not going to get too cocky as I know all too well how easily I can slip and slide!
Exercise was good this weekend. I've been reading the BL Fitness book and DD and I are incorporating a few things. One of them is to step up and down on a step (we are using "a step" from step aerobics) for a minute- starting with the right foot, then left, step down with right, step down with left and repeat for a minute. Then switch and start with the left foot. We are currently doing 2 reps with each foot. It does get the heart going! I am also trying... to do the hula hoop! I am not very good yet and am a wild gyrating woman-lol! Practice makes perfect- right? So that, and Leslie and working in the yard has kept me moving this long weekend.
DD helped me today and we got a 4 foot chicken wire fence around the garden box. I have a feeling I will need to add more chicken wire for height. I will also need longer support poles. Anyway I think the squirrels will be afraid of it for now

I also spent a few hours cleaning up the garage- putting things where they go, etc.
Only 9 more days of school and then a screwy schedule for finals the next week. I am ready to stay home and putter

I always have a gigantic "to-do" list to chip away at so I won't be bored!
Tammy, I'm waiting to hear about your weekend

Miranda, how's the pupster?
Terri, I hope you are feeling better. I must say you have a very big heart to cook for all those ungrateful people- even if they family!!
Dolly, have you found us over here yet?
Kelly, how are you and how was your weekend? Glad you got a run or two in.
Debbie, what did you do this weekend?
Okay, I'm off to watch The Bachelorette
Val, how was the grilled chicken?
Ooh, I had the JC Lemon Cake for dessert tonight. I haven't had it in awhile. Yummy! I made grilled chicken breasts and zucchini for dinner- very tasty. I also heated up a couple Trader Joe's Vegetable Samosas--- we had that as our starch/carbs- love the spices.
Here's to a Mindful, motivated Monday,
Hugs,
Deanna

Terri Oh my gosh! you poor thing

You are such a kind, giving person and it really sounds like all your Inlaws do is 'Take!Take!Take' ....... hope you are feeling better.
Deanna I like the sound of doing the Stepping. I have stairs here in my house I could /should be doing that with too.
Pupster Kody is doing well but gosh I'm busy lugging him everywhere. Makes me realize packing him what the 20lbs felt like when I was 'wearing it' instead of carrying it. Sheesh!...... I know he'd love to just get on with life but Dr's orders.... No Walking! Period..... and I haven't even finished the 1st week yet ( 1 of 8!) ...... Give me strength.
Had DOMO Sunday, JC 100% yesterday and now DOMO again today...I'm going to follow a Day1 menu in the BL book.....
I went into town for groceries last nite at 10:00p.m.!! LOL..... I debated thru 2 TV programs and then thought Nope! if I don't go? then I will just make excuses thru today for not having the food I need for my menu...... and if I went today? I would need to leave Kody in his (play)pen cause it's DH day to go golfing, so I went in last nite while he was here to babysit LOL .
What a Treat! think I'll do that more often!....... no people to trip over!

no line ups at the cash register

...... awesome!!.
so now I am all set.
We got a lot of mowing done yesterday so I am sticking close to indoors for most of today. I want to keep a close eye on Kody because he is starting to want to 'get at' his incision and he still has Staples to watch for? EEK!..... I don't want to put the ConeHead thing on him unless I absolutely have to? so I will be doing ' No Licking' duty today.

Miranda, you are one busy dog mommy! I bet lugging his 20 pounds around can be a real work out. Great way to look at it as a reminder of what you used to carry around on your body.I love grocery shopping late at night for the very reasons you mentioned. Usually I'm lazy and in my pj's by 10- though

Let us know how day 1 of the BL plan goes!
Did anyone catch my wishing you all a good Monday... Guess I should have said Tuesday. They say the mind is the first to go....
I better get moving and of to work.
Have a great day everyone, I'll check in later,
Deanna

Deanna-- I read wishing us a good monday but it didnt dawn on me i guess i was backwards also when i read it LOL..
Miranda--Do you know when i said something to DH about the dishes and cooking his reply to me was we all know you dont like my family especially my mother but you could put a foot forward to at least act like it...can i just say OMG! whatever......men i swear to goodness....
Have you noticed the calorie intake they say we need? Let me just brief everyone on this and get their opinions cuz i know what JC says and I know when i was doing the 1700 cal i lost better and since im gonna be doing it on my own following the biggest loser i want opinions...remember i also thought after starting mcdonalds and the exercise i am gettin through there that i wasnt eating enough so i want your opinion, also i have alot to type so you might end up gettin several posts so i do not "time out" and lose them lol
Ok for starts Miranda if you can and are willing i believe you need to get more then just the one biggest loser book...I also have the 30-day jump start but in addition to that one i have 2 others and they go more indepth and also give more tips and actual menus for week by week....the biggest loser success secrets was ok..i think that would be a good one for tammy but the one i think i am enjoyin the most is the one im readin right now its The biggest loser "weight-loss Program to Transform Your Body, Health, and Life....
In this one it says to get your calorie level you need to take your weight and times it times 7...it takes 7 cals per lb to feed your body properly.. so im 280 x 7 would be 1960..and i will lose weight as long as i follow their exercise plan also...Deanna your 170 so 1190 will make you lose weight and Tammy 184ish lol 180 is 1260 and 190 is 1330 so somewhere in between id do....and for those of us that are doing the MOMO we should follow the pyramid of 4-3-2-1 thats 4 servings of fruits and veggies a day, 3 meats, 2 whole grains and a splurge of 200 cals per day if needed but said use good foods not bad ones...
Tammy-- it says to journal, journal, journal everything from feelings to every lil morsel you put in your mouth...even things that JC says are free will still add up...
It said to make a list of flags labled green, yellow and red...
*green of course are the good flags for example
*Drink 8, 8 ounces of water per day...
*2 or fewer soft drinks
*2-3 fruits at least 5 days a week
ok then it says to do yellow example..
*getting tired of food choices, meals lack variety..
*Increased cravings for sweet or salty foods
*not going shopping enough
*cooking less then you used to
Ok then red flags Example
*not tracking foods or watchin portion sizes, stopped alltogether
*Eat one or fewer fruits per day
*you drink less then 4 glasses of water per day...
Then it says to take the yellow and red flags and write underneath them what you would do to counter react these issues...once its a yellow you are more apt to correct it but once it becomes red they said more likely you will not correct it...
this is called a contract with yourself..and they dont have to be what i gave examples of just what is your yellow or red zones...
Write down your main goals, how you will achieve them and then your mini golas and read them every day!
Miranda-- it says here and it also depends on your cal intake but generally speaking..
Breakfast, should be 1 fruit, 1/2 protien and 1 whole grain
Snack, 1 fruit, 1/2 protien
Lunch, 1 Protien, 1 veggie and 1/2 whole grain
Snack, 1 fruit, 1/2 protien
Dinner, 2 veggies, 1/2 protien, 1/2 whole grain..
it goes more indepth on what servings are and what you should choose to lose and exactly what you should avoid...ALSO says to eat 1 raw veggie and fruit per day, avoid dried of course and to eat a salad per day...
these books are very very interesting, im gonna try and have them finished by the 1st and start on the 1st fresh, I have to get organized..I asked DH to help me clean the boxes out and get them put away but of course he hasnt bothered to help me just his family...grrr...
I will figure soemthing out tho and get her done..I wanna start doing tennis and those pedal boats at the park...and swimming, then i also have walkin on the treamil and weights here plus videos and the exercises they have in the biggest loser...I need to self talk myself like Tammy does LOL, Tammy why cant you be my personal trainer, Deanna can be yours and Ill be Miranda's if she wants one that is LOL...Oh i dunno Tammy is hard on herself could you imagine if she was a trainer...OMG! LOl j/k...
Ok ladies i will write more in a lil bite, as i think of it ehhe I think im gonna start cleaning or maybe drag the treadmil in and walk some who knows, I wanna do soemthing tho LOL
HUGS~

This morning I had the " Ham and Egg Muffin" for breakfast and it was really good. Better than the JC Sunshine sandwich and along that same line..... Yummmm
Deanna LOL it didn't Click for me having heard you say Monday.

I guess it seems like a Monday for you cause you had a long weekend? and for me? All the Days are the same pretty much anyway......... so hard for me to keep straight exactly WHAT the ' name' of the day is LOL.
as for Kody being a 20-lb Lug..... LOL as I mentioned to DH last nite Lord I'm so grateful he isn't a Saint Bernard or something. EEEK can you imagine?

LOL Miranda in one of the BL books i have read it said to take a backpack and put in it the amount of weight that you have already lost and walk around for one hr intervals, then take it off and walk around for an hr interval and then you wont think the exercise that you are doing is a difficult one...good advise i guess huh...
Oh that sandwich reminded me of the JC one i havent tried it yet tho...Did you find the nitrate free canadian bacon? There are alot of things in the book for ingredients that i know ima have a very very hard time finding....
im gonna try tho...i only spent 104 bucks this time on grocerys, and i havent had to buy anything else yet so im good there....
i swept the living room and my bedroom and bathroom and my sugar dropped so i had to stop and grab a snack, them im back off to finish then ima mop and dust then walk i think for 30 mins on the mil...or try to atleast ..Ill be back i swear
LOL

Good Afternoon Ladies!! I sure missed coming out here!! I NEEDED to be here instead of feeding my face. What a weekend, it was eat and drink and eat some more, sleep, eat, and drink some more. Eye yie, yie - this can't be how this summer will go, I can't let it!! Plans-slans - out the window!! I had one obstacle after another and it just got the best of me.
I should have posted Saturday after working out because I was so proud of myself, now, it's small potatoes in comparison of the disaster I caused. (Terri, I laughed at your comment about being so hard on myself, somebody needs to be because this is getting ridiculous!) Any ways, my legs were tight so I decided I'd walk on the treadmill for a mile before doing the much dreaded video again. Friday night, the 4 mile walk with DH loosened my thighs up so I thought it would be a good way to start. I got on and I don't know what came over me, but I wanted to run (yes, I said "wanted"). I had no idea where this was coming from as I am the one that despised running and anything to do with it. I thought, 'ok, I'll run for 30 seconds'. I got going 30 came and went and I was still doing ok so I went for a minute at 5.0 then I walked at 3.9 until I hit .50 and then I ran for another minute and walked until .75 when I ran one more time. I couldn't believe how strong I felt. After that, I went another .25 and did Leslie's 2 mile strength training video before cooling down for .75 and hula hooping for 15 minutes. I tried to go the opposite way THAT was funny and a work out.
I am back on track today, feeling absolutely disgusting about myself. I cancelled dinner plans with a friend for tomorrow night because I can not eat out again this week nor have another cocktail. My stomach feels as if it's going to explode.
Tonight, DH is working at 7:00 p.m., he took OT. If he's still planting when I get home, I'll help him and then I am getting a good, solid 4 mile work out in. I'm going to have to push working out HARD the rest of this week.
Deanna, I wish I had that control you have - I do not. I just don't have it in me and it's frustrating me! Right now my two sides are fighting it out, the rebel and the compulsive one (is that the right word?)
Miranda, so glad Kody is doing so well. You are so good to your furbaby's!! They are lucky to have you!!
Welcome to our new posters - Dolly & tomnjeri!!
Kelly, we are going to Sarasota next month, actually Siesta Key. My in-laws have 2 condo's there (one they live in and one they rent out). We stay in the one they rent when we come down to visit. We also got married on the beach, but our entire group (except for DH's family) stayed at The Palm Bay Club and had our reception at Marina Jack. I can't say enough fantastic things about Marina Jack's. It was awesome!! We became friends with the banquet coordinator and we'll visit her when we are there.
Terri, thanks for all the information. That's alot to write. Usually, I'm very good about my journaling - not so much since Saturday

and that probably hurt me quite a bit too. The Beck's Diet book had us write down the reasons we wanted to lose weight and to read them throughout the day, every day. I should pull those out again.
I refuse to go through summer up and down again. We need to stay home more than we do. I'm tired today, had to come back to work just to rest. That's pretty bad!! Gosh!!! I hate to see what Saturday will bring, it's going to be awful!!! 4 days of 100% POP coming down the pike for me!!
Sounds like you all were much more successful than I this weekend. I'm glad for that!! I wouldn't want any of you sitting in my shoes right now!!
Not sure if I'll get back out here today. I'll try. It's been pretty busy around here today and it took me awhile to get caught up on posts. I missed ya'all and am glad to be back! My body is glad that I'm back on track!! Why do I keep doing this to myself? WHY?WHY?WHY?

Terri I got the JumpStart BL book at Costco here. And even in Canadian $$ I only paid $14.99 for it. I like to try to find books there I want as their prices can't be beat.
Yes I have the Canadian Bacon...... since we live in Canada it's easily found here..... we call it Back Bacon tho. I like it........ I just had some watermelon and a Mozza cheese string. For supper I am having Baked chicken but don't have some asparagus but will have broccoli instead.
then tomorrow? will be a Jenny Day.
Way to go doing the treadmill

Great Job!.
TomnJeri Welcome to the Group...... very nice to meet you
Tammy first off, awesome Job on the exercise you were so successful with. I am very impressed with you being able to do that.

..... as for the 'extra eating'?? chalk it up to Holiday weekend and pick yourself up now today and carry on....... eyes forward...... no looking back. Hopefully you will ' work it off' with the exercise.

Deanna Hoping all is well with you? no post today from you? probably you are just very busy with work etc having everything winding down at school etc.
Dolly hmmmmmmm. that's a very interesting problem you are faced with. I can honestly say that I have not ever felt craving for food at Midnite.
If I can make it past 9:00pm without munching? I am pretty certain to be OK until the next day.
One solution would be to clear your fridge and pantry of any items that are not ' recommended' foods.
I am not ever awake enough at that time of nite to feel like eating LOL. but if you are? how about trying to replace one habit with another one? If you feel like munching? go into the bathroom and brush your teeth? even tho you probably have already done it earlier on... might be worth a try.

Hi ladies,
I'm here, just busy, busy, busy

School is crazy, kids are excited and ready to be done, staff is ready to be done, etc. Only 13 more days of school- I think... Regarding my upcoming food/social gigs this week I decided to take care of ME! I will take my lunch to "The Hoop Shoot" and pass on the hotdogs, chips & ice cream. I WILL eat a BBQ burger at the Best Buddies BBQ Friday afternoon (its a pot-luck, I'm taking fruit salad and there will be other salads (and desserts

). I decided NOT to go to the Special Ed staff get together, that is after the BBQ!! I do not need mexican food and margaritas

Saturday is lunch with friends at my favorite place- The Cheesecake Factory. I know I'll be fine with either my favorite salad or the Summer rolls. Then last but not least brunch with two other friends on Sunday. That will be fine too as I can have an veggie & egg white omelette and fruit. So, I have a plan and feel like it is one I can live with

I just need to keep reminding myself "food is fuel" and I need to "eat to live NOT live to eat"-lol! It's not easy changing lifelong (bad) habits!
Terri, I have enjoyed your posts about your BL books. I do like the idea of more protein when working out. I have been eating more protein and less carbs and feel more "satisfied". I've been reading the BL Fitness book as I need to switch things up now and again. Sorry DH doesn't "get it" about his family and you doing all the work, etc. Ahh men!.... BTW GREAT job with the exercise. You are doing it my friend- keep up the good work

Miranda, I love seeing you post so often. I always get a giggle out of your posts (ie: good thing your pupster is NOT a St. Bernard, etc). Too funny! Your breakfast sounded good

I've been kind of stuck on 1/2 a grapefruit and 3 fried egg whites (coffee too of course). I actually look forward to that breakfast. Occasionally I will have a slice of double fiber toast too. I sure waste a lot of egg yolks!!
Dolly, gee, I don't know what to say about the midnight munchies. Big congratulations for not caving in. When I do something like that I will usually have a low fat string cheese. As long as the undesirable snacks are behind a cupboard/pantry door I leave them alone, BUT if they are in plain sight they call my name... still, even after all this time!
Tammy, Miss Tammy- I hope you are done beating yourself up over your weekend festivities. By reading your post you know where you started to cave in (not journaling). Now you are back on plan and doing things to improve the situation. Your desire is there and you will do it! Maybe it's time to pull out The Beck Diet stuff you worked on before. My goodness you got in lots and lots of exercise, that HAD to help your metabolism and burn some of those extra calories. You may be pleasantly surprised come Saturday! No more guilt- the weekend is done- over... time to move on

I did well in the exercise department today. 10,000+ steps at work (w/ at least 2 fast 3.75-4mph miles), a quick visit to Curves and then 3 miles of Leslie's 5 mile fat burner dvd. Now I'm pooped-lol!
BTW I had the new JC chili and beef for dinner (w/ a yummy artichoke)- it was just okay. I added a little low-fat cheddar cheese, & green onion. I should have added some hot sauce too! My favorite is still the old can of (lunch) chili! I think I have 4 cans tucked away
Okey dokey, I am off to watch an episode or 2 of Prison Break- I think I am 4 behind- maybe 3. Tammy has me intrigued with the ending...
Hello to Debbie, Angie, Val tomnjerry, Kelly and everyone I may have missed.
I'm gearing up for a wacky Wednesday- are you?
Hugs,
Deanna

Howdy, howdy,
I caved like dolly did!!! I ate candy and chips, and the worst part is me being diabetic LOL...and all that walking i did, oh well...I want to and i am going to walk again today...thing is it killed me to do it but i had no problems once i got into it and i didnt wanna stop..I did cuz i didnt want to overdue it...
My son called me at 10pm said hes in the hospital with his DW, she started spotting so they went to the er..he called me at 2am balling his lil heart out, they said she was tryin to miscarry and most lilkely would...he called me back at 3am and said she miscarried..she had a hard time gettin pregnant (5 months of trying I think) her tests kept coming out negative even tho she was pregnant which was odd to me..but she says the doc said was normal which i dont think was...anyways...they are devastated..they both want this baby so badly...I tried telling DS that it was her body sayin she wasnt ready yet...or maybe something was wrong with the baby and was better off miscarrying then it suffer its whole life...he said ya i know so maybe...I feel so badly but there isnt anything i can do to make it better..
ok, i am off, gotta get rdy for work hope everyone has a good day on wacky wednesday.....
Oh Dolly I almost forgot, first off if there s somehting bothering you it prolly shouldnt be there to begin with, however i know you have family im sure that endulges in things we cant so tell them if they want it they have to keep it up or its being pitched...you can try brushin your teeth like Miranda said and you could pull it out place it in a bag, like a brown bag or a colored bag that you cant see through and place it back in the frige out of site out of mind... short of any of that i belive the thing to do it pitch it...
Ok ladies and gents..
HUGS~

How is everyone else doing this fine Wednesday? It is sunny and beautifu here afyer a fairly cool weekend 60 degrees. Should reach 84 today- that's more like it.
I best get moving... I just wanted to drop by and say ,"HI" while I'm eating my breakfast.

Deanna great to see your posts........ WOW! you have a hectic week or 2 ahead, don't you. those are the times I really find difficult? - eating out at other places. By the end of it all you just feel like cocooning and not seeing anyone or going anywhere at ALL LOL .... Time will fly by for you I'm sure.
Tammy how is your week going so far? are you going to weigh in tomorrow? or wait until Saturday this week? How are things with DD? ........... i think you had a bumpy couple of days last week.
My DD and family just came back from a week long vacation in Florida. They took in Disney World and the Nasa center. They had a really great time even tho they had rain several times. Just dodged a Tornado too EEEK.......
Terri I'm so very sorry to hear about the miscarriage..It can really be a difficult thing to cope with....... I'm sure they are full of ' why me?' feelings right now. one of our Daughters had a miscarriage several years back and she still finds it tough to speak about. Hopefully there is a Master plan and when the time is right? they will be Blessed with the baby they want so badly. (((((hugs)))))
Dolly I had another Brain Wave for you to cope with that Midnite Snacking!

any of those things that you might crave at that hour of the nite? provided they are pantry/cupboard items of course? how about putting them into the trunk of your car? Not much chance of you going outside at the time of nite in the ' dark of nite' to go get food?!!? well......... shouldn't say that, as Yes I HAVE been known to......... well never mind. LOL

May 27 2009, 07:10 AM
Good Morning Gals,
Terri, I am so sorry to hear your terrible news. I wish them much strength during this emotional time.
Deanna, I think I'm done beating myself up, but still disgusted with my behavior. I need to think and be mindful. I did neither this weekend!
I'm having a really hard time finding Leslie's punch it up video. I had to really search around her website to even find it. When I did, it appears you can only find them at selected Targets. My friend went this weekend and they had no idea what she was talking about. I've had similar experiences at Target, myself. Now, I wanted to go back out to Leslie's website and e-mail them about it, but I'm getting errors, may be due to security with our system. I can't believe they make it that difficult to order her stuff.
I did not work out yesterday. I was so exhausted that I went home, cleaned up the drive way for DH, made him & DD dinner, cleaned it all up so he could get to work at 7:00. I watered the flowers and sat down to watch a little bit of the BL finale. I got through the first 8 people (at home group) and went to bed at 8:30. I slept all night long, didn't move or anything.
Watching just the little bit I did, WOW - Estelle and Jerry, OMGosh!! One week at the ranch and she lost a lot of weight. I'll finish when DH is gone for 3 days next week, if not before then. Watching the show made me really think about this and I have to want this bad enough to do this, not just bad enough when it's convenient for me. I have to find a way that when the social settings are tough, I prevail. Yeah, a work in progress all right!
I did get up this a.m. and got on the treadmill for 2 miles. I actually ran again. Once I hit .25 on my distance, I ran for one minute at 5.0 then, I walked at 3.8 until I hit .50, ran again for another minute. I did that for 2 miles getting my running up to 5.4 where I was still comfortable. It felt really good and a great way to start my day. I also did the hula hoop for 10 minutes. I went the comfortable way for 5 and then to the right (not natural for me) only dropping it a few times. Tonight, I'll do Leslie's strength training video, I am going to incorporate that in at least 3 times a week.
I was not 100% POP last night as planned. I was tired, I was frustrated and had a soft shell taco (fat free shell, lean ground beef) with my fajita made quesidilla style. I had thoughts of the left over taco salad w/Doritoes & real cheese or chips w/salsa so my choice was better than I could have been, for what that is worth.
Today is a new day and I am journaling again. That will help.
Miranda, weigh in is Saturday for the next 3 weeks before Florida. I'm really afraid to go, but I'm going. I'm not running from what I did. I'm facing the music and moving forward. Sounds like you are in a good place right now. That is great, keep it up!!
Dolly, I don't know what to suggest for the midnight snacking. If you're anything like me, when the urge takes over (it really doesn't matter if it's 3 p.m. or 3 a.m. an urge is an URGE) it's hard to fight it. Try to not even let yourself think the thoughts. I find if I push them out, not even allowing them to fully enter, I do much better. How about going to the bathroom and as soon as you turn left, turn left again and head back to bed and go to sleep. I do best if I don't even get myself near the temptation because at that point, you can justify just about anything, one bite, one piece, etc. Otherwise, try a V-8, nothing goes well with a V-8.
It's busy around here, but I'll try to get out here where I need to be this next week to really get my game on again! I will not accept being heavy. I did see one of the BL contestants (that are trying out for next season, I didn't see who won it YET - Erin or Amanda), but one said she refused to give up and keeps trying to try. That is me to a "T"!!
I think I will pull my Beck's book out again, soon because it focuses so much on your positive thinking.
Deanna, I am so glad I didn't spoil Prison Break for you, I would have felt awful. It was really good and I am really sad that it is over. Lets talk after you finish.
Have a great day Ladies. It's rainy & damp in wet Wisconsin!!

Hi all
I am so far behind on this. So much is happening here and new friends welcome.
Terri - so sorry to hear of the miscarriage. God has a plan for them and they need to stay strong.
Deanna - quick note for you. Instead of wasting all those yolks why dont yu buy the egg whites only in the carton at trader joes.
Tammy - as always your post are so inspirational. Keep yourself in that mindset.
Miranda - you have become the posting queen here. love to read them
And anyone else I may have missed a hi to you.
Now these last few weeks have just been awful. JC has been almost non existance. Will be so glad when DI**H is back to work. I have been cooking for him as he is not really fully moblie yet and I find myself having the same dinner.

The only upside is that I do think about what I eat to some extent and over the last three weeks have gained only 2 ounces. And thank goodness Oregon strawberries are now in season.
I will be leaving tomorrow for central oregon to visit Kerry from Thurs-Sun. I know I will have some challenges but in the back of my mind I will still be thinking Jenny and try to incoporate it into whatever I eat. The real problem is with me there he and his friends will want to hang out and party. So we will see what happens. Maybe I should stick with Mgd 64's.
Gotta a lot to do today before I leave plus the weather here is to die for and will continue that way for at least a week.
Take care to all and wishing you all skinny vibes!!! (((hugs)))

Good Morning, It's been another busy morning at work, but the good news is lunch time is right around the corner
Dolly, I'm very sorry to hear about your illness. Must be very scary and I am glad to read that your symptoms have signficantly decreased since moving in w/DD and DSIL.
Stress can do numbers on our bodies and how we react in different situations - food for some, alcohol for others, cigarettes for others. Try to see the positive that you are working to be mindful and lose weight to become a healthy person for you and your family. Sorry to hear your DD suffered from 2 miscarriages. Do you have a grandbaby now? Or, not yet? I liked your analagy of the rose buds, it is a beautiful thought during a difficult time. I've never been through it and can't begin to imagine the emotional turmoil that is involved!
Terri, Terri, My Girl - LOOK AT YOU GO on the treadmill. I'm doing the happy dance for you!!! Great job. I find that my pedometer is not real accurate either. It's frustrating when you're pushing and pushing but the steps are going backwards. I thought my battery was going too and I stopped wearing it after that. I'll pull it out here and there, but I don't bank on it. I did recently order the new one from Leslie (surprised the withdrawal hasn't cleared my account yet - ordered 5/21) and hope that it's a little more accurate. From what I read, it talks to you and plays music or something to your speed. Fine for the beach, but not in the office so hopefully there is an OFF button.
Deanna, you must be BUSY!!! We are thinking about you. When you have time, I'm interested in your insight on Leslie's Punching away the pounds dilemma I have. I did e-mail them yesterday, but didn't get to check my personal e-mail account last night to see if they responded.
Miranda, how are you? Hope the weather is pleasant. Bet you can't wait to get furbaby's staples out! Bet he can't wait too!
I got up this a.m., laid there for a little while debating, but I finally got up and got on the treadmill. Two miles turned into three miles. YEAH!! I have 11 miles left to meet my May mile challenge. I will have to put some extra in this weekend THAT is for sure. Maybe I'll do a 2 mile Leslie video tonight, that will look a little more optimistic going into the weekend. My legs are sore though. I ran, but only during the first 2 miles, then I walked the last mile. It felt great. Wait, I just re-read that - I "only" ran during the first 2 miles. That should read YEAH, I ran one minute intervals during those 2 miles!! YEAH!!
I did eat 100% POP yesterday so that is also good news. Slow & surely before the weekend hits, again!!! I have a plan though and am going to shoot to prevail this time - one day, one challenge. I think I can, I think I can!!!!
Have a Terrific Tuesday!!

Hey ladies,
Life is crazy at the moment. My student is a wreck and it is taking much energy to keep him calm and on task. I went home yesterday exhausted- never did work out or post

I went and closed an IRA early yesterday (its been sitting dormant for years) to help pay for the trip to Costa Rica. I had the 25% income tax taken out before they cut the check- out of sight- out of mind. I took the freeway to San Jose (a 18 mile trip) and it took almost an hour !!!! I came upon 3 accidents with in a 3 mile spread on the freeway. That was a total drag and makes me ever so appreciative that I do not have to commute everyday!
Dolly, thanks for sharing about your illness. I too am glad you are doing better since you moved. You have a wonderful spirit, sense of humor and outlook on life.
Debbie, thanks for the tip about TJ's egg whites. But, I'm picky and don't like them- call me weird

I have a carton in the fridge as we speak and have used 1 serving

I will stock up on eggs at Trader Joe's today when I go buy stuff for tomorrow's fruit salad. Can't beat $1.79 a dozen for eggs, eh?
This week is a total food fest. I am continuing to say NO, though! Yesterday's classified staff meeting included french toast made with croissants, eggs, and cream (UGH!), lemon poppyseed muffins and fruit salad. I just passed on it all and ate my strawberries and string cheese.
Today is a volunteer luncheon w/ mexican food (catered)- I'm passing on that also. This afternoon the retirement reception- that should be okay. Tomorrow is the real BIG food day! Hoop shoot BBQ, and Best Buddies BBQ. I'm still planning on the Best Buddies one!
Not much else happening with me. Just trying to keep my student calm during all the end of the year excitement is a job in itself. That coupled with 2 students acting up, tantrumming, hitting others, etc is keeping me busy pulling a student off other students, etc. Neve a dull moment I guess.
Terri and Tammy, great job with the exercise! I still can't face working out early mornings... If I went to bed at a decent hour it might be feasible. Last night the police department started in with automated calling regarding an incident that began 3 hours prior. The recording called 3 times the last time being 10:30 pm. I got 3 calls on my cell as well as home phone. Then my 95 year old neighbor called worried and concerned so I talked to her for 30 minutes.
Hello to Miranda

How are you and your pupster doing?
Hello to everyone else- I better get going.
Hugs,
Deanna

Deanna - waving to you as you fly by.
Your post made me tired!! OMGosh, girl. Find time to take a breath!! You are awesome with saying no. I am going to learn from you!! I am, I am, I am!!!
Costa Rica? Did you tell us about that? I recall a trip, possibly to Costa Rica for Spring Break but then DD needed surgery. Did you reschedule? Did I miss something? I sure hope not! When? I want details (when you have time).
I have to be in bed early, 9:30 is the very latest - 8:00 - 8:30 is preferable but NEVER happens. I have to say, it's getting easier to get up in the a.m. (Plus, I don't start work until 8:30 - makes a big difference from 8:00 a.m. even though it's only 30 minute difference - I'll give up 30 minutes of lunch for that extra a.m. time) I try to think of how good I'll feel afterwards and how great it will feel to get it out of the way. I have the back up plan of evenings, if I can't drag my sorry butt out of bed - almost this a.m. But, I did it.
I'm sitting on a heating pad. The backs of my thights are TIGHT!! DH's are too, but his are from planting. He told me they were "frayed" using my word from last week. I know he was joking with his terminology but I know how they felt, like they were shredding. I have to keep doing that video to get stronger. Bathing suit in about a month - YIKES!!!
Kelly, how are you doing? I missed saying hi in my last post. Hope all is well and you're still going strong and the sun is shining by you.

Deanna, that is so sweet to offer. Let me see what customer service responds. There are a few up in Milwaukee that I could call too. If all else fails, I may just take you up on that offer. THANK YOU! I'll check my e-mail tonight. I'm hoping my other new one arrives soon, since it hasn't been taken out of my checking account, I'm thinking it hasn't shipped. I'll look into that tonight too. I'll let you know! Thanks!

Hey ladies,
Here I am, better late than never. I will be glad when this crazy week is over. It may have been a "short" one but a heck of a busy one.
Tammy, I took my 2 hula hoops to work today as I challenged a co-worker to a hula competition. We had a blast, the kids had a blast and everyone was laughing their heads off while attempting to hula. Talk about wild gyrations every where we looked

I went to Target tonight and bought 3 more! I'll keep 2 here at home and we'll have 4 at work. One of the students said she has 2 she will bring in as well. It really kept the kids busy and was lots of fun. Plus we can all get a little exercise during lunch

I figured I'd take all of them to the Best Buddies BBQ tomorrow night and we can have more fun.
BTW Tammy, I did look at my Target tonight and they do have the "new" Leslie dvds. They had a lot of the one you and I are interested in. I almost bought it but decided it is pretty similar to what I already have. I don't think there is really any "punching" per se going on, just walking with the weighted "gloves". If it ever goes on sale I may buy it. Let me know if you want more details and I will go take a closer look
I was perplexed as to what to take for lunch tomorrow for the "Hoop Shoot". My first plan was a salad with grilled chicken but decided that wasn't such a great idea since I would be on the move all day. I finally decided on 1/2 a turkey sandwich, fresh pineapple and some baked BBQ chips. I also stashed a bottle of iced tea, a kashi bar and a few dried apricots and dry roasted almonds in there. That should keep me satisfied

My exercise has not been the best these past few days. Life has been too hectic. I've gotten my walking in but that was it for today (plus the hula hooping

) Tomorrow is not looking very hopeful either. I am hoping to get to Curves as the BBQ ends at 6 (Curves closes at 7). Wish me luck.
Before I forget.... DD's and my trip to Costa Rica is indeed the trip we had hoped to take during Spring break. And yes we couldn't go due to her surgery and recovery. We actually haven't booked it yet

but are hoping for a 2 week window after July 25. If you get a chance check out Caravan Tours online. It is a tour through them but all inclusive (hotels, tours, 3 meals a day, etc) I think its $1100.00 per person plus airfare. DD is supposed to be booking it this weekend. I want to go ziplining through the rainforest!! Whoo hoo!
It sounds like everyone is keeping busy and doing their thing this week. I wish us all strength this weekend- lol! Everyone is moving their bodies and getting stronger everyday

We are all making positive changes in our lives and it feels great doesn't it? Who'd have thought any of us would actually look forward to working out

?
Well, I've rambled quite long enough! I need to make my fruit salad for the BBQ and clean up a little before my cleaning lady comes tomorrow

It's already after 11 pm so I better get moving

I'm not sure if I'll have time to check in tomorrow or not since we will be out of the classroom by 9 and not back till almost 2. But I will try!! At least I will pop on and read!
Hugs,
Deanna
