I have just joined Jenny Craig again!!! I have ordered soups for lunch due to my daily schedule. I was wondering if anybody has any comments on the soups. Are they any good?

I'm a HUGE fan of the Creamy Potato Soup and the Chicken and Sausage Gumbo!

I however didn't like the potatoe garlic. I have tried the soupatizer (chicken rosemary). I found that to be very good.

I thought the Mexican Tortilla Soup bowl was horrible, but the Italian Wedding and Chicken ans Sausage Gumbo are delicious. Also, the Homestyle Chicken isn't bad either.

I love the gumbo! And now the new Beef stew. In my opinion, those 2 are delicious. Not too crazy about the Tortilla soup. I'll eat it but it's not my favorite.

I tried the Gumbo for the first time this week. I liked it. By volumizing it I had too much to eat and couldn't finish the last little bit.
Added chopped spinach, green beans, jalepeno pepper & a small clove of garlic. Once those extra items were cooked first then I added to the soup and reheated up again. I like my soups hot!
The one soup that doesn't come recommended is Thai Lemongrass. The last one I had was gross. The chicken wasn't chicken it was more like chunks of fat. Never again will I order that one.
I'm down to the Tomato Florentine now as my only soupitizer.

I had the garden vegetable pasta soup yesterday for lunch, first time I had it. It wasn't bad, just not a favorite. But would I buy again? Yes

I volumized it by adding zucchini, summer squash, onions and carrots that I had made from a big pot of vegetable soup earlier in the day for my daughter. (I am a single mom, so I have been making up things I can freeze for my daughter)

I was pretty full after that! smile.gif

Good Luck and have a great week!

Goodluck Terri! Us "May" babies rock! I hope to have lost some good weight by my bday. I have let myself go and really want the old me back. But anyway, I want to wear some cute summer tops!!

Have a great week! You can do it!

That's odd because it is my favorites. I do enhance it before heating in three different ways: a) add more lemongrass; cool.gif add some freshly grated ginger; or c) add a teaspoon of Thai red curry paste.

I dont like the soupitizers. However, the gumbo is pretty good. Also, I just had the mexican tortilla soup today and really enjoyed it. I added cayenne pepper, mexican seasoning, and some fire-roasted frozen vegetables.
