I am really sorry! I haven't been available to handle this challenge this past week.
What are your first results? Let me hear about your progress!
Remember to focus on what you did well. To do that, I wanted to change the presentation of our goals and results using the number of days we did well for each goals (except for the change of weight of course). Tell me if you don't like it.

I lost 2 lbs, gained 3 lbs and lost 1 lb, so I'm right back where I started! LOL...
I got off track with the PT exercises when I fell and hurt my shoulder. The first week 12/08 to 12/14 I was able to get in 3 per day (21 times) but last week I probably only averaged once per day so I think to date my total is 28.

Wow, this challenge is almost over already! I don't think I lost anything. This shoulder-thing really set me back. I'm not sure if it's the cold weather, but it sure has been hurting lately.
I am determined to get back on track now that the holidays are past. Today I went to JC and put myself back on the 1200 calorie planned menu for a few weeks. I didn't weigh but I'm pretty sure I'm more than 5 lbs over my goal weight, which means I'm off maintenance and back on the full plan. I really wanna catch this now before 5 lbs becomes 10 lbs, and on and on!
How is everyone else doing?

Alright, I had to look at my original post to see what goals I had officially set... here's what I had planned to do:
For weight loss, I want to reach my half-way point.
SW for this challenge: 171.6
GW for this challenge: 165.0
For fitness, I want to do my pilates 3x per week, and cardio 2x per week (1-hour each workout).
I'm heading to our yearly vacation in Central America on Friday for two weeks, so it will be challenging. I managed to buy a bunch of JC suitcase foods and dedicated one luggage just for that purpose. It will be the first time I'm facing this challenge of tempting decadent foods while on Jenny Craig, but I am being proactive and started mentally preparing for this trip months ago. I can do this, I keep telling myself!
YIKES -- I feel like such a failure reading that. Before my trip I had actually lost 2.6 pounds, but then managed to gain it ALL back during my trip. Yes, I brought JC foods and was good for breakfast and dinners, but lunch is the big meal where we went for vacation and with so many friends and family to visit, we had to eat at others' homes for lunch. So I found it nearly impossible to stay on program or even do portion control because the person who hosted the meal was insulted that I didn't eat what they made and the serving size they gave me. So of course when I got back yesterday and stepped on the scale at home I was right back to my starting weight... UGH
Fitness -- well, I rode my bike and walked every day on vacation, but the gym I had hoped to go to while there was closed for the holidays, which meant I didn't get the intensity I needed to offset the food intake. But I've already made steps in the right direction going forward. I have pilates class today, and plan to get right back on that fitness program.
Hope others have more success to report, but if not, just remember our journey is a lifestyle change with many bumps along the way, and our true success is reflected by how resilient we are to getting back on track and not how far off the path we've been bumped. We can do this!!

Hello everybody!
I am sorry I didn't take care of this challenge so much, but I am getting prepared for back surgery tomorrow, and my mind was off everything else. I didn't exercise, I wasn't serious about my eating... But I hope hospital food will help me get back on track
Good luck to you for 2009!
